What this means is that the Democrats, after decades of saying get out of the middle east, are going to be the ones arguing to put U.S. troops back in Iraq as part of their foreign policy.
The simple fact that Trump was able to decimate ISIS with so little pushback tells me that Q and others in the conspiracy realm are right and this war was won the day Trump won in 2016. Say what you will to that.
They shouldn't REEE, they should instead focus on lobbying to remove gun laws so they can sell these arms to American citizens. After all, that is what the 2A implies. Why shouldn't I be allowed to own a warship?
They won't do that because the average joe doesn't have the bajillions of dollars they charge for such things. These are the same people scamming the government with shit like 500 dollar hammers.
Bring all troops home unless the host country pays the full cost to have them there, and stack troops along our border to, ya know, defend it from invaders, like a military should be doing.
We can't stay there forever. Let Europe fucking deal with it. We had 17+ years, thousands of American lives and trillions of dollars on this already. Enough is enough already.
I understand the need to leave really I do, I just don’t want to give Iran another puppet state practically gift wrapped for them.
We are already up against the Russo-Syrian-Iranian-Chinese Alliance, plus any puppets of theirs like North Korea, Belarus, and Central Asia. We really don’t need to add Iraq to that list.
I'm the last one to want to have given any hostile power a gift-wrapped country paid for with American lives but we have to draw the line somewhere. Hopefully we've given them enough to stand on their own but if we didn't we can't stay being the world police anymore. It's just too costly morally and economically
It’s not that we didn’t give them enough, it’s the fact that they have a Shia led government, one that is currently suspiciously eager to argue in defense of Iran’s actions.
The only thing stopping them from voluntarily becoming an Iranian puppet is our military presence.
That goes away then we’ve just added another country to our list of enemies we have to beat. Along side China, Russia, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba, Central Asia, North Korea, possibly indochina (don’t know where Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia stand), and Belarus.
And let’s not forget the potential for Turkey (the only thing keeping Erdogan loyal is the fact that Putin dislikes Erdogan), the Philippines (The Current president is an anti-American, pro-Chinese shill, he might have toned it down since Trump’s election but he has already begun aligning his nation against us), and Pakistan (they hate the fact that we are getting close with India) of joining our enemy as well.
The only anti-American state we have managed to actually turn towards us was Ukraine (hardly worth it in my opinion).
On top of that China has basically economically colonized Africa so they are now aligned against us.
If we are going to defeat China then we need to isolate them internationally, not give them more allies on a silver plate.
Meh, we are still in South Korea, Okinawa Japan, Guantanamo, West Germany, and other former war locations. Not sure why we need to rush out of Iraq and should keep a massive base on the outskirts there to be a sign of stability for the region. Otherwise there's a power vacuum and the crazy people there get wild ideas.

It is scary how much evil is in charge around the world. We knew it was bad before Trump, but it is still eerie to see it when it has been exposed.

Military Industrial Complex: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
They shouldn't REEE, they should instead focus on lobbying to remove gun laws so they can sell these arms to American citizens. After all, that is what the 2A implies. Why shouldn't I be allowed to own a warship?
I like the way you think.
They won't do that because the average joe doesn't have the bajillions of dollars they charge for such things. These are the same people scamming the government with shit like 500 dollar hammers.
Or doing cool shit for Space Force
Actually that sounds awesome. As long as you can maintain it, why not? If they have it, we should be allowed to have it too.
This is exactly what I want.
George Bush' Legacy.
I have been waiting 17 years for this. I honestly don't actually believe it will happen till it does, but I hope completely that this time its true.
Good. Get us the fuck out of the desert.
And bring our boys and girls home.
John Bolton on suicide watch!

Wait I thought we were going to be at least on World War 5 by Trump's 4th year?
Funny how there are people out there who literally blame Trump for wars that never even happened.
ehmerrr gerrdd trump wantrs to bring us troops back to the us so we cant burn down the whole system REEEEEE
Get them out of Merkels smelly hole too!
Now do Afghanistan !

We have plenty of enemies back home that need to be stopped.
You forgot the rest of the sentence: "in the near future." The troops haven't been withdrawn yet.
Finally
Hell ya fuck the neocons
Libertarian here - fuck yes!
Post them at the border, weapons free. Enough of this fucking nonsense.
will this be before the election? if so BIG PROMISE KEPT and worth a TON of votes!
I don’t think this is a good idea.
The moment we leave Iran will swoop in and establish a Shia puppet theocracy.
I don’t want to give the Sino-Iranian-Syrian-Russian Alliance another ally.
We can't stay there forever. Let Europe fucking deal with it. We had 17+ years, thousands of American lives and trillions of dollars on this already. Enough is enough already.

Big difference between Germany, Japan, Korea, and Iraq and other Middle East shitholes.
Those are the places we put in democracies and paid with blood and money to do so. Democracies don't war with other democracies = reductions of wars.
You are right, but one of those countries has a majority that follow a religion that sorely needs to modernize, and the others do not.
