There was someone who I'm sure was a ShareBlue shill on a Catholic subreddit arguing unprompted that Catholics should not be 'single issue' voters (presumably on abortion). I looked at his post history, and it was filled with posts to various Christian subreddits arguing that leftist talking points were actually 'true Christianity'. So, while the Dems certainly don't want anything to do with God, they are afraid that that some of their former supporters of faith might get wise to that.
