Holy shit, how did you figure that out? Seriously, I want to know. I'm second gen Asian-American and pretty good at picking out language patterns, but I have no idea how you did it.
Us first generations are really really blunt, don't filter out racial features and generally use noticeable features of others as descriptors.
Basically, we never got into the whole PC indoctrination thing.
Mileage may vary depending on work environment.
See, I guess as a second-gen I don't notice those things because I just interpret it as a familiar way of speaking. It really takes an outside observer sometimes. :)
