We have an effort deficit in this Country and there is plenty of blame to go around. We need to be encouraging kids to put effort into school and work to better their own situation, not tell them they will never amount to anything. Even teachers in inner city schools probably get disillusioned and put less effort in because without seeing improvement year-over-year it would get tiring.

Hard work creates wealth! Spread the message far and wide.
