If the press has lied about Project Veritas 318 times, how many times have they lied about everything else? Is there a way to quantify that?

Everything they write is a lie, so just look up how many articles they’ve published in the last 4 or 20 years

Take any subject one’s an expert on and see how it’s haphazardly summarized and portrayed by the media, that really wakes people up to what else they’re probably lying about. I’d say I’m somewhat of an expert on a relatively benign product that’s been demonized by the media for years. Hearing the disinformation spread by major media outlets with nearly every local news station is close behind, it’s eye opening. One time a friend witnessed some event can’t remember, he was on scene and got interviewed by a local Fox affiliate a decade ago, they edited his interview and aired it to say the exact opposite of his intent, hasn’t trusted hardly any media ever since.

Gell-Mann Amnesia

YouKnowWhatItIs87 3 points ago +3 / -0

I had no idea there was a name for this phenomenon. Thank you very much, there’s some really smart folks around here.

TwoPlusTwoEqualsFour 3 points ago +3 / -0

"Briefly stated, the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect is as follows. You open the newspaper to an article on some subject you know well. In Murray’s case, physics. In mine, show business. You read the article and see the journalist has absolutely no understanding of either the facts or the issues. Often, the article is so wrong it actually presents the story backward—reversing cause and effect. I call these the “wet streets cause rain” stories. Paper’s full of them.

huh.. new to me

YouKnowWhatItIs87 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s the same article I found too that showed up in a quick search. I’m stealing the phrase “wet streets cause rain” that sums a lot of media stories very well.

TwoPlusTwoEqualsFour 2 points ago +2 / -0

I was struck by that as well.

Reminds me of demolition experts watching WTC7 fall and conclusively saying it was a controlled demolition vs. Popular Mechanics explaining away what we all saw either by omission or outright untruths.

You're welcome. I only remembered that there was a name for it, I still had to look it up!

And you're right: there are some very bright and creative people here, it's a joy to witness

Unusual math property of having more lies than words.

I only check MSM for sport result!! Only thing they are good for

They can lie about sport result or can they?

Consoom sport

TommyLasordasBallBag 9 points ago +9 / -0

Just do a Google search "trump russia" and the name of any major outlet... the results are how many times they lied ABOUT one thing.

4
Dirk_Diggler 4 points ago +4 / -0

There is probably a way to quantify it, but it would be exhausting. It's easier to write them off as compulsive liars and just not read their shit. Its been years since I have consciously read or watched "news" in years, now. And God bless the people on this site who wade through it and digest it, to spare the rest of us from having to go through it. From seeing it on here, it is dystopian levels of propaganda. It might as well just be North Korean "news."

Since the beginning of Project Veritas, I think. Started in 2010.

So, 318 retractions in 10 years, or a little less.

Over/under on the number of cats that this Democrat Party/leftist operative cosplaying as a journalist named Cat has: 3

7
Grond999 7 points ago +7 / -0

The amount of info James collects, makes the 'do nothing' RINOsaurs look like toddlers, especially with their repeated stupid hearings.

4
ZacPetkanas 4 points ago +4 / -0

C'mon man! Lady Lindsey has suggested that he might convene a committee to consider issuing a sternly worded letter. Rawr!

7
guitarmastershredder 7 points ago +7 / -0

The problem with the retraction is, and exactly what these news organizations know, is that the first publication gets multitudes more views and by the time they do the retraction the next day or a few days later, the misinformation has already been circulating.

Anyone else came in here expecting a cat dressed in a suit going over to try and register to vote? Am disappointed to say the least.

Public service announcement: When you view and post Project vertitas videos, do it on bitchute. Phase Google out of your life, one small step at a time!

Same for mark dice, PJW, Tony heller, etc.

EDIT: just realized he hasn’t posted this yet on bitchute for some reason, but most stuff he does right away... here is a link to the channel:

2
lifeisahologram 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good on Veritas, but that’s still a shitty retraction. “James O’keefe SAID there is no proof”. They could just come out and admit there is no proof, because there isn’t. But instead of admitting that they just say he claims there is no proof. And again, still not providing any proof themselves.

It’s a non apology.

Democrats are evil scum. They lie always.

2

Operation Mockingbird, the press was designed to lie especially after the 1940s

2
Strings_Pulled 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hardly a correction. The correction should read 'there is no evidence that any of his videos have been deceptively edited'. Not 'he states'

2
sleazysaxsolo 2 points ago +2 / -0

ONLY 318?

2
Jaunty_Haul [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm sure there have been a lot of fudges that have never been retracted.

318 is just the number of lies they've ADMITTED to.

This video was highly edited. What you don't see from this video made by Project Veritas was the point where James O'keef said " Vote for Biden. My whole family is going to vote for Biden. Just the other week on a personal visit to Joe's basement, he sniffed my daughter and then made the thumbs up sign".
