A former colleague of mine made a blanket statement that “All Trump supporters are racist.” After wasting my breath trying to explain that was an incredibly unfair and inaccurate statement, she continued to accuse me of being a racist for this sole reason (meanwhile, having known me, would certainly never say this about me had they not known my political affiliation).

Anyone else have to deal with this absolute nonsense? I would imagine so. It really infuriated me and it took a lot for me to just “walk away” (this was on the social virus otherwise known as Facebook). I’ve learned trying to reason or educate these people is a waste of time.

Best comeback is to say you agree. And then say something inflammatory in parallel. Something like -- "All blacks are criminals...."

Then just mirror whatever they say.

Thats racist -> so was your comment. Not all blacks -> Not all trump supporters Not Most blacks -> Not Most trump supporters

I thought about that but I couldn’t bring myself to go that low. Did want to reach through the screen and strangle the shit out of them though.
