I've been out of school a loooong time so I ask, when did the schools start giving students laptops? And why? Just to cry about not having enough money? What kind of fuckery is this? they started with netbooks. then ipads. neither of which are sufficient for the task at hand.
the IT costs are stupid. these things get lost (sold), stolen and broken.
