You would be surprised. My roommate works for a programming firm and they threw him into marketing. He hates his job now and is looking for we work so he cam get back to coding.
Have to agree. I would bet we could count the number of senior level dev people who went to marketing instead in the last couple years at a fortune 500 company on zero (larp) or one (Oh shit, I really doxxed myself!) hand
