My husband was the minority growing up in an all black neighborhood and going to predominantly black schools. His childhood best friend is a stereotypical "oppressed black male". Never knew his father, 30 years old driving without a driver's license, Unable to hold down a steady job or pass a drug test to get a good job. But he has a good heart and he seems to truly care about my husband so we haven't given up on him. We are consistent with encouragement and try to show him love and support, so that he will eventually see that he is the only thing holding himself back. He finally got a job at the city dump and even though he found the job embarrassing, my husband told him how proud he should be and how he heard it was a great place to work with good benefits. It is now a month later, he still has the job and he just told my husband that he never dreamed he would even think it, but he's voting for Trump this year. He said he can't believe all of the insane and twisted lies the media has been shoving down his throat. And that a guy at work showed him on the BLM site how his life didn't matter because he's a man. I just wanted to encourage everyone to keep passing out those red pills, I never dreamed he would take one! But after years of us trying, he eventually took one from a co-worker. I'm excited for his future!
