Seriously, you guys in USA are lucky that you can own guns. Here in Australia, it is possible but a lot of effort to get the required licenses. I'd love to own myself a Kar98.
haha, damn that's a cool gun. I'm still more inclined towards bolt actions I think. I used to be in the army so I've fired military grade weapons, like the austeyr f89 and f88 minimi. But, I've never really fired a bolt action before and I've always wanted to try ww2 era weaponry. I never got to do anything cool in the army, but thats what i get for being a pogue i guess.
Dude, if I could afford to come come over to USA I would do so in a heartbeat! I've visited before, back in 2010, and I had such a great time. Except LA.... was really disappointed with LA. As soon as the WhuFlu bullshit ends, I'm making plans and it will most definitely involve getting onto a range. I got a ex-marine mate in maryland who owns a whole bunch of WW2 rifles.
