Seriously. I can grow a pretty cool looking beard - full where it needs to be with some angular, face shaping empty bits. Think John wick but fuller.
But I hate the feeling of it. Takes all my discipline not to just run a trimmer over it. I keep it because my girlfriend hates it and won't shut up about it - so as a contrarian, I'm keeping it to teach her she doesn't get a say in my grooming. If she ever shuts up and accepts I make my own grooming decisions, I'll let it go.
I keep mine because my wife is all over me when I have one. I’m not really into the beard thing, but eh...whatever. I do have to trim sometimes because it’s just disgusting when I try to eat ice cream or soup.
Yeah, but f beards. Itchy hot food traps.
It's called a flavor saver.
That was funny. It shall be stolen.
"Flavor saver" is as old as beards.
Was new for me. That is not common in english that we learn where I come from.
Yeah, not a fan.
Also works like a mask to hide ugly features on men. I'm clean shaven and handsome.
