My special favorite Trump thing is his love of our parks. It actually brings tears to my eyes sometimes because it means so much to me and has been so neglected for so long. It's also sort of an important thing around here: we're basically all sportsmen in some way, from hunting to fishing to canoeing.
I believe it was his first paycheck that he donated to the National Parks and I was trying to tell a level 4 TDS victim about it, as she was supposedly a conservationist like myself. Her TDS was so strong that she was sure it wasn't a good thing, and that somehow by him giving money to the parks system he was screwing them.

Hey, I've lurked for a while but I just registered here today and I'm the same. Been a contrarian blue libertarian since I was a young Democrat. Voted for Obama, was very anti-Bush over war.
Trump has brokered historic peace in Korea and recently in the middle east between UAE and Israel. He walked into fucking North Korea and he's saying he wants to get Americans out of the middle east.
On the other hand, dems are gleefully alienating anyone who refuses to kneel to the woke mafia. I'm absolutely sick of that shit, worthless racist ideology for fucking morons.

If we're lucky, we'll have the Lion Party as the primary conservative party holding up our national defense and law/order, and the Libertarian Party (non TDS version) checking the balance to ensure we never get too full of ourselves and remember the rights of the individual (social liberal, but still anti-communist). The fiscal/social and conservative/liberal balances are needed in our government to ensure representation of the People and preservation of Rights.
Pepper in some Independents or a strong 3rd Party that focuses on a need of the time (because never let the Uni-Party reform, even in our image), and I'd say we've set a measure for success, along with a small govt format where a new party could rise if needed in the future (see: us, 2015).

The Democrat party hasn't had a liberal in office since Groover Cleveland in 1896. The progressive identitarian movement was locally strong in places well before that, like South Carolina in the 1850s.
Well I am glad that Trump actually came along, because if he didn't the Establishment Republicans and Democrats will keep playing the same game of bush/obama policies that have destroyed America. As a progressive... that is literal progress.
Biden was right about bussing, it sucked for everyone who was forced to go to schools an hour away from their actual school districts where they were the racial minority and didn't know anybody, especially the white kids, everyone got awful education and experience out of it

Why do people pretend bussing was a good thing? It wasn’t. The government needs to stop forcing people to like each other. They will just do it or they just won’t. People fuckin’ self-segregate most of the time. Of course, it’s only racist when white people do it. Bussing was hardly this grand equalizer. It separated people from their community and created animosity of both sides. Just give people time and eventually the population will become more homogeneous. And it shouldn’t be a tragedy if they don’t do it as much as your fevered liberal dementia demands. Nope. You're not going to get anywhere at this important point in time saying institutional demographics is bad (they are). The simple solution is to leverage the American race, with me, and fight hard for it. In this country the only race that truly matters is the American one. And there needs to be an explicit definition for it - Native American or American Citizen.
