That's the reason why I actually silently voted for trump in 2016, that was my first ever election year. Now I am just being more vocal about it.

They've been calling us this for years. All of those words were used so often and so broadly that they have lost all meaning.
Most of the psychological studies I've read on politics tend to get certain things back to front. Especially considering that a certain amount of what might be considered a "sociopath" is good. If you're also saying comply otherwise you're a sociopath, that in itself is sociopathic and authoritarian.
People who aren't compliant are acting as individuals in their own interests.
The left wing demands total obedience and collectivism.
Most academics are liberally bias and unable to compensate for this in fields that are ultimately purely subjective such as those dealing with morality and the concept of self.
In left wing studies they now tend to make people who are not pathologically selfless as to be selfish and therefore sociopaths. What they demand is that everyone act entirely empathetic. To be fully socialised.
There are a lot of paradoxes here.
To demand selflessness is selfish. We must remember who else is expected to be selfless: The common slave.
If you get everyone to go by empathy or their existence is entirely to suit the external then the internal is wiped out. If everyone exists solely to suit each other then who does anyone suit? Any self gets cancelled out. It should be noted that sociopaths often call for this because they have no sense of self in others or simply don't care for it.
In any situation, masks or not, it boils down to two sides. You will find on both sides a portion of individuals driven by sociopath tendency.
If you keep watering down what is a sociopath tendency is then you quickly enter into the realm of where it's a good thing. Most things today that people call racist are in fact good things because they have watered it down so much to try to deliberately paint good things as bad things. For example today when I'm with the kids and out shopping if I see a really good shirt I say wow, that shirt is amazing, it's well racist, I'll take two!
People should not take stock in these experiments. I reviewed one ages back saying conservatives are more entitled. I'm a moderate right in the middle, although because the left has gone so far left that puts me more on the right. I tend to be on the middle because I'm really bad at making my mind up and consider either side in and given situation on a case by case basis without very many precepts.
I found in these experiments that what they called entitled politically would be things that I find are neither this side or that. It depends how you look at it. For example, it would say that they support gun rights more. Whose entitlement is that though? I would say it's a plausibly greater sense of entitlement to want to take someone's guns away. There were even less ambiguous cases than this.
When you really looked into it then measuring who is the most entitled as well as relating that to good or bad then it turns out extremely difficult. You can't do it with just a few questions picked by people who are politically bias. But it gets worse than this. When we refer to entitlement we assume in the bad sense.
The same as discrimination. Is it bad to discriminate against people who cannot do the job? You can see how you can quickly pull the wool over people's eyes. If you are hiring someone then your job is to discriminate. If you then tested people for their ability to discriminate you could complain that one group discriminates more than others and then report that. Lets say it's conservatives.
You publish that, the paper makes sales, it is a money making operation after all, then it becomes normalised to discriminate against conservatives because they are better at discriminating. That is contradictory but more importantly what they wont tell you is that by discriminating they mean in the general sense, for example, discriminating more against bad hires or people with fake credentials.
This might sound strange but you can be better at discriminating by not discriminating, for example by race, but instead by the relevant criteria for the role. Because words have a multitude of meanings you can quite easily entirely invert your findings when you report them.
Tests like this really don't tell you very much about specific situations. BLM and Antifa are highly sociopathic and it's evident they don't really care about COVID-19. If you think about who is really sociopathic breaking quarantine for made up nonsensical reasons such as a man overdosing on fentanyl then in terms of political factions that's the left wing.
Other political factions tend to at least have some reason for what they do that's far more grounded in reason, truth and moral conviction. Even if it's something as simple as that they are against quarantining the healthy or that the cure is worse than the disease those are at least valid positions as opposed to this supposed racism pandemic. A disease which not a single lab in the entire world has been able to isolate.
You're always going to get sociopaths who will for example drink from the bottle when no one is looking but otherwise tell everyone they use a glass. The same kind of behaviour will apply with COVID-19.
On the other side sociopaths will get off on making people wash their hands even when it's not necessary. It's hard to measure what is sociopathy or anti-sociopathic.
It's also wrong to assume that it applies to everyone. Each individual is unique. What it wont report is how many people who didn't have such traits. These are aggregates and so are useless. The only way it can truly speak to you is if you take the same test of psychological traits. Unless you know what that is then you really can't evaluate what the hell it means by sociopathic trait. That might be not giving to beggars.
We also need to listen to the wording straight up. Traits? Self reported? The target audience of this is Brazil which is very much different. All of these have severe limitations.
Ultimately however it is a no-shit-Sherlock study. People who are truly sociopaths will not care at all so they will be over represented in those categories.
If you're going to convince people that rubbing garlic into their genitals will stop the spread of plague then you'll have two types of people not going along with that. Either people with "sociopath" traits or people who aren't that gullible.
It's also of note that famous people such as Rosa Parks were famous for their displays of ASPD traits, for example, rule breaking such as sitting in the forbidden seat on the bus and that kind of thing.
A serious problem with these kinds of publications is that few audiences are truly competent enough to understand them as well as how little they really tell you. I could have told you the result of this study without having to do it. Could have saved a lot of hassle. The world is complicated however and they're hiding it's true shape through aggregation which is a form of gross ignorance that serves to wipe out an array of individual values.
It should be noted the paper is virtually unreadable as it's not able to present upfront values and data.

A lot of psychology is objectively junk science (especially the entire field of social psychology). Coming from a published scientific author and inventor on several US patents.
Blanket war criminal labelling may be unwarranted, but it is a bunch of quackery at best and the ammunition of the most horrific war criminals at worst.
A large majority of psychologists (9:1 I hear) are liberal, but definitely not all. I have a handful of colleagues who are MAGA all day long. I think since most psychologists are there to try to help the person in front of them, they miss the big picture and that makes them lean Lefty. Things like, “yes allowing an illegal alien to be naturalized the country will make them happy or reduce some stresses, but it’s contributing to drug and human trafficking and hurting even more people.” Psychologists who work with the big picture (organizational psych or being in leadership) are conservative to a much higher degree.

Problem is, there is a sizable portion of the population who do agree with and believe all these incredibly unfair, ridiculous twisting of labels, hook, line, and sinker. I see emotional manipulation being used as a highly effective way of getting people to think a certain way.
I really am beginning to think AI data collection is being used to figure out exactly what it takes to manipulate the public, and they only have to secure a certain percentage of people to have it be successful, meaning you could have, say, 30% of the public who see through all this clear bullshit, but it doesn't matter if 70% are sheeping along through manipulation.
If I may be on the right track, it really gets scary to think of that type of potential information/manipulation power at play.
I know, but what I was probably poorly saying is I believe the effectiveness in how they are able to carry it out is with massive profiles being collected of all interconnecting data, which can then accurately predict and carry out plans of action even far more effectively than what you correctly stated we already know can naturally be used (and is) in being able to control the population.
But you seem to be alluding to the idea that the animal (lizard) part of our brain responsible for all the survival actions and natural tendencies we so often each day succumb to is the only thing in charge, and that "we are not logical machines".
I disagree, in that there is the more logical part of our brain capable of more complex thoughts/rationality that we don't naturally favor, but we absolutely direct each day consciously. This is the part that is letting us discuss these more complex ideas/concepts, and is at our disposal, so we don't necessarily have to feel like we're powerless monkeys trained to survive only. We seem to be quite a bit more than that, and able to tell that lizard brain at times to sit aside so the logic brain can take over. For example, say I get in an argument with someone and I get so angry that I call them an asshole. That was the emotional part of brain, acting on autopilot, feeling attacked and wanting to defend myself, which comes out in anger. After that happens, I can take a deep breath and calm down, and realize my lash out in angry name call, think and realize why I did it (as I did above), and then decide that's not how I'd like to act, and actively make a choice to say I'm sorry and move on more peacefully in argument. This was a case of my logical brain taking over when the 'reptile' reactionary brain has made a noticeable mistake.
I notice in myself and others when you talk of us falling into tribal, really simple patters when interacting on social media. But what gives us (or me at least) hope is that I am able to notice this happen and have the opportunity to stop it. I have had times where I realize I'm addicted/affected by social media so much that I simply stopped going onto all the sites, ,and it was nice. I had left all the b.s. aside by will. This is very important, and shows we are not doomed to an inevitable monkey outcome, as we are capable of recognizing the things we do and altering them if wanted/needed. It just seems to get much harder as the number of people involved grows. But perhaps the supposed coming AI/human hybrid mind may greatly lessen that issue, I don't know.
But I also believe there is another part of the mind more abstract related to what we consider spirituality, and it is that, along with our logical brain, that will allow us to be able to control that simple animal mind, and we are not doomed to an end beyond our logical/spiritual will.
Im hoping our country being wealthy and not a shit hole will provide enough resistance to this reactionary jerk to the left that dems are seeing.

The conclusion was not wanting to follow these bullshit guidelines doesn’t make you a sociopath or a nazi, but that people who were already “identifying” as one were more likely to defy guidelines. It was real clickbait bullshit.
Reading the article makes a big difference, but people love to title articles (scientists are no exception) in such a way it maximizes readership. The details is where it often parses out ridiculous headlines into something more meaningful.
