For those that arnt familiar with local Virginia politics, Portsmouth was created by democrats when they jerrymandered the black neighborhoods out of the city of Norfolk.
Just another one of their lies. They recently gerrymandered PA's congressional districts in favor of dems so now I live across the street from a corn field but have a dem rep cause my district includes huge swaths of dem shit holes 50 miles away. Pisses me off so much cause I moved out here to get away from dems and two years later they gerrymandered it. Fuck Conor Lamb.
I remember in school when I saw a district that literally looked like an audio headset; two rectangles with a tiny crescent sliver connecting them. That's when you know that this government is cucked beyond belief.

Yeah I was in Dormont. In Beaver County now. I used to go up to Potter Co when I was a kid. Loved it up there. If I had a work from home job I'd be in the middle of nowhere like Tioga or Potter, but I have another 20 years of commuting to Pittsburgh.

You see, Democrats are all concentrated in cities, so almost any normal-looking map will favor Republicans. You have to gerrymander to split up the concentrated areas with Democrats to divide us.
