Family Dollar corporate, in my district at least, have sent and require to be posted the "masks required" signs in accordance with the NC governor order.

But we also were told to not actually require masks for customers and to not even bring up the issue with any customers not wearing one. The employees are however required to wear one in any capacity where they are interacting with customers.

MondayCoupleIsDead 159 points ago +161 / -2

This is my opinion about it. Do what you like, either wear one or don't. I just don't want to hear a fucking thing from Karen's on either side of the issue.

Mind your goddamn business and go about your day.

121
HeavenlyTrumpets 121 points ago +123 / -2

Non-mask-wearers don't care about other people wearing masks, IF they actually WANT TO. They only care about people being FORCED to wear masks, which is wrong.

95
Darius 95 points ago +96 / -1

I have a problem with the mass manipulation and lies told to make people "want to"

I also have a problem with people walking around/exercising outside or driving with masks on, this should never be normalized as it gives plausible deniability to criminals and will only be used against us.

35
unicornpoop 35 points ago +35 / -0

Stupid people gonna be stupid. You can't control lies in the media, you just have to call it out so people stop believing. Unfortunately, this is not about MSM lies as much as it is about the growing mental illness in our society. People WANT to believe. They WANT to be afraid. They abandon all logic and revel in the LARP that we will all die and the apocalypse is upon us.

Saw a woman yesterday driving a small convertible on an empty quiet street in a sparsely populated area, no traffic at all, and she's wearing a mask. I am walking by on the sidewalk enjoying the fresh air, no mask. Is this an IQ test?

26
GoldenEagle1776 26 points ago +26 / -0

My grandfather was saying wearing a mask is an IQ test, I know it he meant it as a jab against me because I refuse to be muzzled but he was right just for the wrong reason.

18
Scroon 18 points ago +19 / -1

That's hilarious.

And your grandfather is an idiot. No disrespect, it just happens sometimes.

Well, just respect your Grandad for being old (for bearing your Dad so you exist). The opinion of an old guy whose mental faculty might be 40 years pass his peak, I don't even demand him to be always correct.

9
Block_Helen 9 points ago +9 / -0

The really sad thing is that the low IQ libs around here think that our mask orders REQUIRE masks outdoors. They don't. They only require them when it is not possible to distance.

I hate the orders and I think they're bullshit. But most libs don't even seem to be able to read them correctly.

We could control lies in the media if we changed our libel laws. We need to make it easier for people to sue the media for the lies they tell. The reason it never happens much right now is because it's almost fucking impossible to sue the media over "actual malice".

2

Day... Umm... You know, I honestly forgot. About 30 or so? 35? Of zero deaths in my region from Corona-chan. But wear the mask! Be afraid! FEAR! Zero deaths. Even with all the incentives to find that as a cause of death.

For funsies, I looked up my region, and Chicago's peaceful demonstrations, and living in each respective area, adjusted for population, across both's respective entire timespans, I'm something like 10x more likely to die from a peaceful protestor's peaceful fires of peaceful peace there than I am of kung flu here. And that's not even taking into account my age and decent immune system. A BLM rioter deciding to board me up in a house then burn me to death is far more likely than cough pao chicken doing me in. But do you see us reacting this extreme to stop BLM, even though they're clearly far more dangerous than the covids by simple numerical analysis?

Staatssicherheit 0 points ago +2 / -2

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.03.23.20039446v3

We initiated an ongoing study of environmental contamination obtaining surface and air samples in 2 hospital 9 residential isolation rooms housing individuals testing positive for the China Virus. The surface samples came from common room surfaces, personal items, and toilets. Personal air sampling devices were worn by study personnel on two days.

Overall, 70.6% of all personal items sampled were determined to be positive for SARS-CoV-2 by PCR

Second, 58.3% of hallway air samples indicate that virus-containing particles were being transported from the rooms to the hallway during sampling activities. It is likely that the positive air samples in the hallway were caused by viral aerosol particles transported or resuspended by personnel exiting the room.

2
Block_Helen 2 points ago +2 / -0

Fine. There are particles in the air. That study does not say that there is enough of the virus floating around to actually infect anyone.

And also, the positive test was by PCR. PCR simply tests for virus presence. You can have a positive PCR test and not be infected. It is not just that these people have asymptomatic infection - they are NOT infected. That's why some people have a positive PCR test and then are tested soon after and the test is negative. The temporary presence of small amounts of virus does not mean you're infected. The temporary presence of small amounts of virus in the air or on surfaces does not present a danger of infection. ESPECIALLY OUTSIDE, as per the example in this thread.

This only adds to the testing confusion/nightmare.

I will rephrase: So many idiots legit think you can get infected from particles floating in the air.

I see this so often, and all I can think of is how unnecessarily uncomfortable it makes those people and how ignorant they are to do it.

MASKS ARE DANGEROUS, No. 17

Masks (a) force you to rebreathe your own exhaled microbes and CO2, and (b) restrict oxygen intake.

This causes symptoms including headache, dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, unconsciousness, and potential death from motor vehicle accident

I'm medically exempt. I granted myself my own medical exemption. What law states I must wear a mask? What law states my medical exemption must be granted by someone else? Answer: NONE.

Can we get a little civil disobedience up in da hizzle, muh nizzles?

I haven't worn a mask into any store since the first week of the 15 day bullshit. Nobody has the balls to do anything, maybe because I'm big and hairy, but if everyone did it, this crap would vanish. It's late August FFS....why do people believe a virus that dies in heat and UV light is still a problem. It's a joke.

Just get plenty of Vitamin D, take off your mask, and breathe.

17
dykstra89 17 points ago +18 / -1

being big and hairy probably helps, but people mainly just dont even care. i go into stores basically every day here in california. never worn a mask once. had one store ask if i had a mask , said no and they said 'okay carry on'

its complete garbage. it makes me physically ill when i see someone i haven't seen in a while and they're wearing a mask. i can't even look people in the eye. its still too fucking weird.

take off the masks. reopen america. defend your country.

Some people don't care, but there are also some who harass me for not wearing one OUTSIDE! I had one 50 year old lady see me in the street 3 separate times and harass me about not wearing a mask. Also had another one wearing a BLM shirt harass me about it too. I'm in NYC.

2
MegaMagaManX 2 points ago +3 / -1

Dehumanization. Not being exposed to facial expressions makes people avoid eye contact.

Also was waiting in line the other day for a gun purchase/pickup. About a dozen of us in total and we all were "distanced" OUTSIDE and I was the only one NOT wearing a muzzle. My state mandates indoor "face coverings" but I only use a bandana when necessary

Dr0neRec0very 4 points ago +5 / -1

I haven't worn the useless mask of marxist submission once, and I won't. The holes in even the best masks are over twice the width of the covid virion. As you know, no one has "the best" masks; they have shitty fabric masks. The holes in those are roughly TWO MILLION TIMES the width of the covid virion! TWO MILLION covid could hold hands side by side and march through just one of those holes; the cloth is porous with countless hundreds of thousands of those holes. It's dangerous because it makes vulnerable people (not just cowardly marxist cucks but actual vulnerable people) think they're safer, when they're NOT.

Keep pressing this issue here. If we were able to follow accounts on thedonald, I would follow your account right now. There are a few original mask memes on my account that you could grab copies of, too.

So have I, at only three interactions from store workers and one grumbly old man at Walgreens too chicken to confront, who walked by muttering and mumbling "Grrmnfphhdfh MASK mmmflfmfl..." while disgruntledly looking over his shoulder in my direction. Not kidding, the only intelligible syllable was "mask"...I smiled (visibly) and laughed a good laugh

Before recently, I worked in a physical labor job; you will literally run out of goddamn air if you lift something heavy for a short time. I had to reflexively tear the mask off my face cause my body would go into panic mode due to lack of oxygen. It's fucking stupid. It is a health hazard and it should be against safety regulations. I worked liquor and had to climb a ladder with a 40-45 lbs box. What happens if I run out of air halfway up? I topple off and fucking die while dropping easily $200 to potentially $1000 worth of merchandise.

As of last year, if a jackass walked into a shop wearing a mask, he better be wearing body armor, too. Now, we (not just you, but many patriots) consider 'wear a mask into my store if you want to' a win. It's ok, but I don't consider it a win. A win will be: "This is not a bio-lab. We, like any normal shop, DO NOT claim to have the ability to control viruses. Your mask doesn't work, even at a mask-mandate location. If you wear a mask into my shop, I assume you're here to rob us and staff will react accordingly."

Honestly this mask shit is more dangerous than I think people realize, it's literally being normalized. Imagine the psychological damage this is doing to kids, hell it freaks me the fuck out, this shit isn't normal and Trump should end it sooner or later.

Basically no one but me and Tom Shillue on Greg Gutfeld's show seem to get the horrifying, blood-curdling seriousness of the seemingly innocuous little mask thing. They can control businesses and capital markets from now on merely by implementing mask mandates.

It is the single most bone-chilling, terrifying, heart-stopping thing that's ever happened in the United States. Nobody seems to get this. Have you heard Trump or anyone in charge even HINT at ever being able to take off the mask?

Nope. There once was "15 days to flatten the curve." Then 30 days. Now there is no time frame. It's indefinite. The new normal.

Trump even says it's "patriotic." Because no science education. So he does what everyone does: TRUST THE DOCTORS. But what about when the doctors are in on the sick, twisted scheme to inflict a purposely created bioweapon on the world in order to take it over and control it forever?

The idea that in this country you no longer will get to ever see any of your fellow citizens smile...no dancing, no romancing, no family outings, no fun, no freedom to worship or assemble, the First Amendment GONE, and violent criminals being released from prison and then encouraged to walk into banks and stores wearing masks, is a communist WET DREAM.

There’s nothing he can do. There already is no national mandate, that’s on your governors. Private businesses will also always have the right to require masks.

9
Cyer6 9 points ago +9 / -0

Maskless flash mobs at businesses like Costco will stop it. Keep doing it and they will see that the policy is attracting too much unwanted attention and not worth the trouble.

2
Colonel_Chestbridge 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sure, if it’s not profitable for them then they will stop doing it. But right now a lot of stores, depending on where you are, are likely keeping these mandates because they think customers will feel safer shopping there.

2
Dr0neRec0very 2 points ago +3 / -1

The mask serves no biological purpose. It's enforced STRICTLY for its psychological effects. Two million covid virion could rest side-by-side in any one of hundreds of thousands of holes in the typical mask. President Trump knows the nation was driven to hysterics. He knows what the marxist blight would have done to the administration if he had openly, vocally opposed the useless, hysterical masks.

I wear a reversible simple one, with flag on one side and Trump 2020 on the other. I wear the flag side mostly because I don't want some TDS jerkoff taking a swipe at me.

I can't believe people insist on going to the dentist with a mask. I just can't believe it.

7
Kweebecker 7 points ago +8 / -1

Live in an area where it's a law.

Can't go in without a mask, so you gotta put one on. You're inside. They've got specific disposable masks because they don't trust your crusty reused one that you've been touching constantly. So you touch both masks, and put the new one on. Go into a room, and take off THAT mask, again touching the mask, so they can dentistry you.

To me it seems like a master class in how to spread a pathogen as much as possible, how to touch contaminated surfaces as frequently as one can.

Or you can ignore the entire thing by drinking from a water bottle.

2
Dr0neRec0very 2 points ago +3 / -1

"Live in an area where it's a law." Plan a move, if you can. If they're willing to make masks "law" (it's unconstitutional), the masks are the least of your worries. It's going to get worse. Leave if you can.

Why are you exempt? Sorry, Karen. That data is disseminated by me strictly on a right-to-know basis. You would need to demonstrate qualifying credentials, plus a verfiable right to know. Then, I would make a determination and later inform you of my decision on whether I would grant you access to the information. For now, you will need to just accept that doctors said not to wear it.

My personal private information is none of your business. Live, and let live.

The correct response to this question is to raise your voice, take a step or two towards the Karen, extend your face a little, and bark, "NOW, YOU WANT A COPY OF MY FUCKING MEDICAL RECORDS!? YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND, BITCH!!!" Then, go about your business as if she doesn't exist, without being goaded into a single additional response.

Different pokes for different phokes

Sometimes not yelling obscenities at strangers is an acceptable way to proceed

Mind you the entire scenario is hypothetical; no one has ever asked why I'm exempt. The question overall is probably rarer than soap in Seattle

It’s funny, stores in my deep blue state almost all have signs that say some variation of no mask no service yet no one has refused to serve me because I didn’t have one on. I think there’s a lot of people just kinda going through the motions even though they know the masks don’t do shit.

Would love to see this sign...i would be a shopper for life

Damn, it almost like if you leave it up to people to choose everybody wins.

I wish every place of business or worship in America had this sign....

Actually, I wish this was a law now

Once again, a Republican being the most progressive and diverse you could be during a crisis.

Can we make a bunch of copies of this and stick em on random stores that won't see it coming? Almost like the "it's ok to be white" signs. I can imagine thousands of these popping up across the country. All you'd hear is ReeeeEEEEEEeeeeee!!!

Eroding our freedoms and we're just bending over and taking it.

This has been my standard response to every person who asks, "Why not just wear the mask." It's really sad to see how few people have standards. I would love someone with enough clout and reach to organize something like a "No Mask Monday" where all Conservatives get together and rebel against the tyrants. (I'm tired of being the only one to do this every day.) Unfortunately, I know what it's like trying to get Conservatives to organize when it comes to anything.

I've seen a lot of teenagers ignoring the mask rules. This is one of the reasons among many why they don't want to open schools. Kids will go to school, rip off the masks and still not get sick, exposing even more Leftist lies.

I've been going to a local health foods store that doesn't make their employees or customers wear masks

Stopped buying my vitamins from Amazon

Dr0neRec0very 3 points ago +4 / -1

Even better:

"If you wear a mask into my 2A equipped store, I'm assuming you're here to rob us."

3
Fatty 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'd what they're selling but I'll buy it

ProtectFreedom 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hey look, a rational way to deal with masks.

Sodium_miner 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would like to know if this store has a website. I’ll pay more to shop at places like this.

3
ChrisLia 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would make one edit: "This is the free country". There is only one that exists in the entire world

3
Dev404 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is how it should've been from the beginning. The mask is pointless, but if you want to virtue signal, then go ahead. I don't.

MythArcana 3 points ago +3 / -0

Obviously, that's not in California.

All of the chain grocery stores around me are forcing masks on people. This is a red county. We found a local grocery store that isn't part of the chain that we had never gone to and not even their associates are forced to wear masks. Guess where we shop now for life? Fuck these big chains and their policies.

1
Woohan 1 point ago +1 / -0

Same here. I never shopped at our local store but I sure do now. I'm in Georgia of all places. We have no mask mandate. So the big chains made one instead.

2
TheThreeSeashells 2 points ago +2 / -0

We have no mask mandate. So the big chains made one instead.

This is how the Left tried to avoid the blame for the tyrannical mandates. They got business to do their dirty work. That's fine: I remind everyone who started it every chance I get.

This sign is how it should be.

Some lunatic the other day at the grocery store cowered in fear at me and hid in a corner as I was trying to pass him to get to the restroom. Then he said that he is trying to maintain six feet. This fear pushing needs to stop.

I posted this on a local Facebook group and now everyone in my city is sharing it and trying to find the business, after I refuse to tell them where it is.
