Big Pharma is only worried about protecting their CASH COW which is forcing Insurance to cover overpriced drugs which are LESS EFFECTIVE than public domain drugs with MINOR side effects.

Untill Bayer purchased Monsanto few years ago this wasn't made by a pharma company. Luckily I took my gains from monsanto and didn't reinvest in Bayer.

Trump presser today to announce news about a therapeutic. A guy on Twitter who says he has DC contacts just tweeted that POTUS is making HCQ available over the counter.

14

Can he do that?

Yes, with an executive order.

FDA, CDC and a lot of others. But sheep follow and there are a lot of sheep. How about the Ivermectin results of 6-8 day treatment which totally rids one of Covid19. It's said to be 100% effective, and with zero side effects.

I read one published last week by a doctor in Australia. I can't find it now, but this is another article from 8-8-20. https://www.newsmax.com/health/health-news/australia-ivermectin-coronavirus-covid/2020/08/08/id/981220/
The article I seen last week stated 100% effectiveness, no side effects. I'll keep looking.

Someone on twitter said it totally irradicated the covid, but was so good that it didn't leave any antibodies. I'm not a doc, but might wanna check out.

Just another article, but tells the three used: ivermectin, zinc and doxycycline. Ivermectin must be a zinc ionophore, like HCQ and quercetin.

Sorry, but I've never seen any credible evidence. All the farmers I know say it's bullshit. And I wouldn't trust anything coming out of the EU about this. They are cucked to the gills on this environmental alarmist bullshit. They ban things and ask questions later.

This is true, Glyphosate is bad for you if you directly ingest it, it probably would cause cancer. The way it's applied to crops is measured in ounces per acre. And if you wash your vegetables it's all gone. Nobody is drinking it by the glass full.

Compared to almost all other forms of weed killer Glyphosate is in fact the safest, without it all of your crops would cost several times as much money, and would be much less plentiful.

Saying Glyphosate causes cancer is like saying Carbon Monoxide and NOx cause cancer, so we should ban the internal combustion engine and all ride our bikes. Fantastic, what a wonderful life that would lead to....

PropagandaWizard1984 1 point ago +7 / -6

This logic is faulty. Farmers don't make science, they make food. They would have no idea if it does or doesn't cause cancer. Agricultural scientists on the other hand have the skills and tool to test these types of things.

Good luck playing in the pesticide fren. I won't be rolling the dice with my life to kill some weeds.

Aaron Blair, PhD, of the National Cancer Institute, and a lead researcher on the IARC’s study, says a panel of 17 scientists from around the world concluded that glyphosate might be dangerous. They looked at all publicly available and published studies on the chemical and its relationship to cancer. That included studies on people, animals, and laboratory cells. The panel didn’t consider reviews done by regulatory agencies.

In 3 out of the 4 human studies of American, Canadian, and Swedish agricultural workers, the IARC panel found a link between glyphosate and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer of the immune system. A fourth multi-year study of 80,000 American farmers showed no relationship, Blair says.

The science I've seen is dubious. And I disagree. The farmers I know are sharp and knowledgeable people who have been using it for decades. Their opinion matters as least as much as some of the junk science I've seen.

2
PropagandaWizard1984 2 points ago +4 / -2

Your logic is faulty. That's like saying "I know people who smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day and never got cancer. They lived to be 98 years old". It means nothing what a few farmers say about literally human medicine. Farmers are not doctors. Farmers are not chemists. FARMERS ARE FARMERS!! Get it now!?

Farmers are smart, hard working, good people. No doubt. But it's like trusting your plumber to for legal advice.

I went to school for agriculture and know a bit more than most random idiots on the internet.

1
Aeronomer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Send me a link to the study that proves it. Otherwise, it's just your opinion, whether you took some classes once or not. Reasonable people can disagree according to what I've read, which is why I started off by clearly stating MY OPINION on the matter.

I'd put family member's lifetime of knowledge doing actual farming against you any day of the week. Especially since you seem so impressed with yourself.

And BTW, go fuck yourself with this arrogant "Your logic is faulty" nonsense. I have a Ph.D. in physics, so I'm well acquainted with logic, moron. You keep conflating my opinion with some assertion of fact because you think it makes you sound smart or something. How is that logical?

1
PropagandaWizard1984 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hey Neil deGrasse Tyson you should give your physics degree back because it doesn't matter how many decades you farm it still doesn't make you a doctor or a chemist. This is called basic logic. Farmers know how to grow food, tend the soil, and preserve seeds. They don't know shit about medicine, toxicology of the human body, and basic chemistry of carcinogens.

Like I said Dr. Big Brain go bath in Round Up see if I give 2 shits....hint I don't!

Our "leaders" will never do that because it hurts their own stock portfolios too much. It always ties back to politicians own money. Their children's inheritance is tied up in corrupt businesses and can not be untangled from the crimes those corporations commit.

The most profitable companies are the most corrupt ones many times.

A while back there was a story of a janitor who used Roundup on the job and developed blisters and sores, months later his body was infested with tumors. He sued and won the lawsuit for millions in damages and since then the story is buried. I would not be surprised if part of the deal was a gag order. He was a black dude wasn't that old, no older than 50.

FDA is a big part of the reason why America is the sickest country in the developed world. 100% megacorporation owned for the purposes of greed and suppressing competitors.

FDA is also a big reason why Chinavirus treatments and tests were held up. They are working to get Trump ousted.

Repeal and replace the FDA.

If there is a treatment, such as hydroxychloroquine, then vaccine funding doesn't happen. Fauci has marginalized hydroxychloroquine because he owns patents on vaccines and is set to make a fortune.

All the lawsuits and narrative against glyphosate causing cancer is lawyers getting rich. Reality is it is much safer than almost all the alternatives. Also pretty much everything causes cancer in high enough concentrations over prolonged exposures.... The studies the lawyers have been using against glyphosate or poorly done and rather inconclusive. Luckily for them most jurors have zero scientific background.

I owned stock in monsanto for years and considered buying some bayer but stayed away from it. I've spent many hours reading on both the stocks and obviously glyphosate as it was their cash cow. Also work as an engineer in the chemical industry. Simply providing my input based on years of review and experience and not some single article.

Now quit acting like a millennial dickhead.

I believe they will try to hold onto this in a Kennedy assassination fashion. I also think that will be incredibly difficult in this Political environment and time of technology. I think it will still take until long after Trump is out of office and another strong willed conservative or rational liberal (unicorn) is in there. Unless at some point Trump dumps it all out there which would make it forever a conspiracy theory to half the world.

How can FDA be purged and reconstituted so that this doesn't happen again?

1
CmonPeopleGetReal 1 point ago +2 / -1

Yeah if you drink it straight by the cup. You know what else does? gasoline, and exhaust emissions if you worked inside a non ventilated building and breathe it all day straight. Probably toothpaste causes cancer if you swallow enough every day.

Glyphosate is applied at a measurement of ounces per acre, an Acre is about the same size as a football field without the end zones. It's fucking huge.

Nobody here would talk about banning the gasoline engine because emissions lead to extremely small possibilities of cancer for most people. If the shit was so bad farmers would all be dying and scared to use it, they mix it about 1 pint into 50 gallons of water.

0
deleted 0 points ago +1 / -1
0
CmonPeopleGetReal 0 points ago +1 / -1

Why, we are talking about it in the context of food. and the use of glyphosate, as used currently, does not cause cancer. Farmers are exposed to this shit way more than the minor remnants that may be on the public's corn husks, and they aren't dropping dead of cancer or scared to use it.

The shit is a miracle of modern farming, without it the fields would be riddled with nasty ass weeds. Food would be way more expensive, and way less readily available.

Rxking 1 point ago +1 / -0
