I had been looking for one of those for quite a while...then one day, I'm in my shop w a friend, and just happened to look down at the shelf that runs around the shop, and there it WAS! Someone had brought it in 3 days before I saw it.
So, of course I bought it. It IS a matter of taste, no doubt, but I like the look...as well as the Sig. It's truly beautiful...all German craftsmanship...I have an old Mauser in.380, boy, is THAT a tank!...so this was a good choice for me...have lots of ammo.
Great story! The construction is precision German, I totally disassembled that pistol yesterday, cleaned and lubed it, and had a heckuva a time getting the hammer mechanism back together. The decock makes it difficult, the safety lever .#37 part number was a bear. Here is the best diagram I found:
