You are so correct. And even better if you can...stay to the end of the day when Taps are sounded over the peace of Arlington National Cemetery.
Day is done
Gone the sun
From the lakes
From the hills
From the sky All is well,
safely rest.
God is nigh.
Fading light Dims the sight
And a star Gems the sky,
Gleaning bright From afar,
Drawing nigh,
Falls the night.
Thanks and praise,
For our days,
Neath the sun,
Neath the stars,
Neath the sky,
As we go,
This we know,
God is nigh.

Goose bumps do not begin to describe the feeling.
There's no way to describe the way it feels to be there when the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier walks, and when they change guards.
Also no way to describe Arlington, when you see a funeral procession walking silently toward the gravesite.
America is so grand and beautiful it takes my breath away.
