I don;t think the House gets to vote Nancy in? We have a majority there, but I think it may only be 1 State?
Also, when's the last time you read Kipling's When the Saxon Began to Hate? Remember, for every one man to remain effective on the front lines, it takes 10 in support behind the lines.
US politics is a tricky beast. I don't think the House gets to pick just whoever in this unusual scenario, which has NEVER actually happened. I think they can vote for whoever they want out of the 3 top vote getters, which would still assume votes can be counted with some degree of credibility. In this case the House votes by State, not by representative. They have I think 38 more reps than we do, but we have I think 1 more State than they do. So it's possible we'd win that vote 26 - 24.
But I think it's a wrong turn to contemplate this scenario. The only reason we are is if it turns out popular votes CAN'T be counted, or at least not in any way that anyone would have any confidence in. Many of us do expect Ds to deliberately mess this up. In which case we would expect most of the votes to be for DJT and Biden, with anybody else pitifully low. But we'd have no way of knowing who came in third, which would be enough to make the whole election void.
I really don't see a peaceful resolution to any of this.
I think the whole point of Kipling's poem (or are they two separate poems? I couldn't tell) is none of us are haters by nature. We need to learn that habit. And it takes a while. But once we do, holy hell ... people will be wishing they hadn't brought up the topic of a race war. We had racism beat before the 80's, and ever since. Not completely, but nothing like this! Yet obviously it's the Marxists and globalists that are the real enemy, not the mindless horde on the street
