LDL and HDL are both basically the same, they only differ in density. The ldl is used in the cell membrane and is the most 'usable' form. Your body has the ability to convert ldl to hdl and vice versa. the excess cholesterol consumed is turned to fat. Over time LDL can build up on the insides of your arteries forming plaque which is why it is villified. exercise and a balanced diet basically alleviates this risk. As long as you aren't a lazy pos, it's not a bad thing at all.
