LDL and HDL are both basically the same, they only differ in density. The ldl is used in the cell membrane and is the most 'usable' form. Your body has the ability to convert ldl to hdl and vice versa. the excess cholesterol consumed is turned to fat. Over time LDL can build up on the insides of your arteries forming plaque which is why it is villified. exercise and a balanced diet basically alleviates this risk. As long as you aren't a lazy pos, it's not a bad thing at all.
That's good that you run. I've got to start once again. Thankfully i have a mountain bike and roller blades though so i do get some cardio in.... Anyway have a good one, and don't be afraid of the red meat and eggs every now and then especially when you know you earned it. That's basically how i try to think of red meat in general because you can't really justify eating it unless you got a worthy appetite going.
"These are repackaged into lipoproteins called VLDL that contain a mix of lipids, cholesterol and triglycerides. In the blood, the muscle and adipose tissue remove much of the triglycerides from the VLDL, converting it to LDL. LDL is the lipoprotein that cells can internalize to obtain cholesterol. When they contain too much lipid and cholesterol, they package the excess into HDL. The liver can take up HDL and excrete the excess cholesterol in bile or repackage it for delivery to other cells."
If it was so bad why do people eat eggs (80% of the recommended daily value if i remember correctly)? The same people trying to tell you that cholesterol is the devil are the same ones trying to sell you on soy.
"LDL is often referred to as bad cholesterol and HDL as good cholesterol but both have the same cholesterol just different relative amounts."
both ldl and hdl dummy. You keep acting like you know everything and it's making you look ignorant AF.
So i can't find my earlier comment on here, so here it is again;
