A little after midnight this morning I was awoken by a text message from my landlord saying that a police officer stopped by the house that I am currently renting a room from and said people were out burning Trump flags. My landlord is out of town for the weekend and I didn’t hear the doorbell so the officer took our flag down and hid it for us under some patio furniture. This officer didn’t have to do any of this but he went above and beyond for us and our neighbors that also fly a flag. I know this might not be the most exciting thing to happen but I strongly feel this officer’s actions needed to be shared with this community and not just be known to the few he did this for in the middle of the night. We support them, and they support us. To the officer with PPD, thank you for all you do.

The cop should have hid in the bushes and made an arrest or five.
There are some pretty nice shrub lines around the property that would be perfect.
Fund out who he was and thank him
That’s my plan. We have one of those camera doorbells so I’m going to check the footage and see if I can make out a face and a name tag.
I love to hear good cop stories. Too frequently we hear the bad cop stories despite their being the minuscule part of the daily interactions of the large picture.
