I am a certified Advanced Firearms Instructor & Coach having started years ago in the US Military where l was trained as a part of the Protective Services Detail Team ( to protect high value targets while in theater)& the Embedded Training Teams (Ett's) , training individuals from around the world while serving in Iraq & Afghanistan & trained all types here in the US including LEO,Teachers etc for self defense in school shooting scenarios.
Vehicle transport in hostile environments is always one of the most dangerous things you can attempt ,by far the worst thing you see time & time again in these videos of people being caught up in the violence in vehicles is inaction/indecisive action/plain stupidity & when it comes to firearms being used for self defense in crowd situations the same, with the 'Hollywood Hero' syndrome where numb nuts think by pulling a gun out in a crowd will some how miraculously part the sea for them & have all the morons calling for your blood to run away at the mere sight ,it is only a matter of time before someone is going to have a gun they are just waving around snatched off them & turned on them & their family.
Do not drive into a area where it is reported these scumbags will be, for years we have seen the same riot situations here where the car becomes the focus of the anger & all the BS of the Charlottesville cluster fuck has only added to it.
If you accidentally drive into a area the scumbags DRIVE AWAY, get out of there by exiting as far away from them as possible ,once again no one in the US should be under any allusion you can reason with them ,at the minimum your vehicle is going to be damaged.
If you find yourself accidentally trapped & being threatened, IMMEDIATELY use your vehicle as the weapon it is & do not stop until you reach the nearest police station to report what happened.that does not mean you drive around in circles chasing them or drive back & forth over bodies .Drive straight through the scumbags, in the most direct way to remove yourself from the threat & do not stop until you reach a police station /police officers to report it.
We were trained that when you are in a vehicle surrounded by hostile scumbags treat it as though you have driven into the Lion enclosure in a game park in a open meat wagon.
We were trained by guys who spent years driving under cover in Ireland at the height of IRA violence ,they had custom made extended mags fitted to their Browning Hi-Powers in compartments built into the doors with a fake newspaper covering them for immediate use.They had been caught in situations & used the methods above to get out alive .
The same basic principle apply to getting into a situation where you have to rely on a gun, if you pull it you better have a damn good reason not to have to use it .Again if you have got in a situation where you have to use it, be aware that even if it is totally justified it is going to fuck over your life & your bank balance for years, as now you have buildings full of people whose sole job it is to push the Did N Do Nuffin narrative & it is a multi million Dollar industry.The best option is always to not put yourself in a position you will have to use it ,you of course have no control over a scumbag putting you in danger & leaving you with no choice .This is when the difference between have good training & none will tell.
