I like to go to the nth degree when really driving a point home, so here the NYT saying public sector unions are a bad idea. FDR reviled the idea as well.
I work in LE and our union has helped us a few times recently. During this Covid bs if someone got it they obviously had to take time off, and they were giving us paid time off while out for Covid So we didn’t have to use our own time. It’s a County PD and the county freeholders decided about a month ago they didn’t want to do that anymore so they took away that extra Covid time and if someone got the virus and was forced to take time off they had to use their own time off out of their time bank. Our union was basically like nah not happening and they ended up giving us our Covid time. If someone gets the virus through no fault of their own at or outside work they shouldn’t have to pay for it if they were demanded to take time off. Before that it got all of us a few thousand dollar raise with retro pay. I wasn’t complaining lol.
Just lie to them. They surely won't no shit about what is going on. Ask them how they feel about mail-in-ballots now that the US post office workers union back Trump. They will reeee the fuck out, just watch. And then you can tell them see, that's how I feel.
Rural Letter carriers, like me, are the people that drive up to most mailboxes and sometimes drive their personal vehicles. That are represented by the NRLCA. They are probably the most center-oriented union because tons of rural carriers live in red states and live in the country.
City Carriers are the ones that walk around and put mail through door openings and boxes on porches....mostly. This group is represented by the NLCA. This group is solid Blue. Lots of city folk here but they still work and some walk up to 14 miles on foot a day. They work for their money but are still city dwellers.
Factory workers, or hub workers, and some clerks are represented by the APWU. This is the far left union. This is also the biggest union. These are the people you have heard about in factories that many times refuse to work and can't be fired due to the union. At my local P&DC, I was told my thr safety supervisor that they have more people out on disability than are currently working.....and that was 13 years ago.
Anyways, the APWU's president is Mark Dimondstein. Search his name and the word Communist. There are blog posts that show his Communist ties and his admitted Socialist orientation.
My wife's cousin is a postal carrier. And she militantly hates Trump. No way in hell I'd ever let her near my mail, let alone a ballot. Though I'm in the "high risk group for covid", you can bet your sweet ass I'm voting in person. Voted in the primaries safely in person, I can vote in person in the general election, too.
Unions rarely represent the majority --> the fact their representation is not absolute at all should bar unions from endorsing candidates. A union member who refutes the endorsement should have every right to sue and recover fees.
Unions are garbage and destroy the fabric of our society. They promote laziness, low IQ, and take no pride in their work. I used to be a pro union lefty not even 5 years ago, but how can I support worker and teacher unions when all I see them do is lie cheat and steal?
Also, at the core of the issue of vote by mail isn't whether or not the post office is reliable enough to deliver the mail. It's whether or not there will be a proper chain of custody, and if the voter will be properly verified as having received and returned their ballot. Obviously none of these key things will happen in vote by mail, as per design, and thus it's ripe for fraud.
I already don't trust the normal election process, adding more ways to commit fraud is just added disenfranchisement. I will never not vote, but damn do I feel like it matters less and less every election, especially bad when elections mean more and more to our freedoms.
And this is what's been running around in my head for days now, how can we trust the postal service when the postal service unions are backing Biden? The postal service is no longer impartial and therefore should have no hand in the election.
This is why no public servants should be allowed to unionize. The unions are literally against the public's interest
Public sector unions exist to extort taxpayers.
Yup, in one. Been going into work everyday since flu, no extra for me. But day time staff get to work from home
I like to go to the nth degree when really driving a point home, so here the NYT saying public sector unions are a bad idea. FDR reviled the idea as well.

It needs to be a FUCKING LAW
My electrical union is literally against 90% of its members interests too lol
Shocking.
literally and figuratively !!
I thought unions were there to protect workers from heartless corporations
Why the fuck do govt workers need unions
Unless govt is just as bad as private industry for exploiting workers

Public unions are a legal version of the mafia. Except the Mafia has a code of honor.
This alone should disqualify mail in voting.
Only if people take to the streets will it.
Shit, maybe we should riot about it. Hey hey, ho ho, mail in voting’s got to go!
Good Question, dont ask a liberal they wont care because it wont hurt them.
Just lie to them. They surely won't no shit about what is going on. Ask them how they feel about mail-in-ballots now that the US post office workers union back Trump. They will reeee the fuck out, just watch. And then you can tell them see, that's how I feel.

USPS Mail Carrier here.

DO NOT VOTE BY MAIL
I have to vote absentee. Thankfully Florida (or at least my county) gives me an email when my ballot is received.
Also, at the core of the issue of vote by mail isn't whether or not the post office is reliable enough to deliver the mail. It's whether or not there will be a proper chain of custody, and if the voter will be properly verified as having received and returned their ballot. Republicans will mass vote in person this presidential election. Make my marks.
Hell.
BREAK THIS FUCKED UNION
This is clearly election tampering.
I already don't trust the normal election process, adding more ways to commit fraud is just added disenfranchisement. I will never not vote, but damn do I feel like it matters less and less every election, especially bad when elections mean more and more to our freedoms.
Why are unions that represent government employees allowed to endorse candidates at all?
"Hi I;'m voting for Biden and Drump bad, can I have your mail in ballot?"
And this is what's been running around in my head for days now, how can we trust the postal service when the postal service unions are backing Biden? The postal service is no longer impartial and therefore should have no hand in the election.
Federal tax money -> USPS employees -> Forcibly taken by union as condition of employment -> Democrat Party.
Inspectors from every party at every polling station.
A mandatory gps tracker put inside every ballot box/sack then sealed at the polling station.
Every single one of votes must be counted correctly, otherwise voting is just a charade.
Voter ID. Only eligible can vote. One vote per person.
