Try this: buy (or make?) a Biden mask too.
You could either:
A. Wear that at gate check-in/seating/take-off, then switch to the Trump mask after take off to see if they'd actually turn the plan around.
B. Wear your Trump mask, then, if they confront you about it, put the Biden mask over it... until take off.

Good point, though the results from the experiment would be great even if we already know what will happen. You could just use a plain one instead. I'd just love to see a headline of "United turns flight around b/c passenger was wearing a Trump mask" :D
There has got to be more to the story. I see Trump masks everywhere. We would have heard of other people getting booted for it by now, I would think. He prolly got into a political discussion/fight with someone due to his mask, and it became elevated from there.

I was just on a United flight. I'll buy a Trump mask while here in TX and wear it when I fly back to see what happens.
I'll also wear a Trump hat, and shirt, so they can't request I change masks.
