I think he was right about the nothing burger. Wrong about the loss though. My wife thinks the Dems are throwing the election on purpose (ie they WANT President Trump to win). Bless her she is crazy but I am beginning to see her point.

She thinks President Trump is going to mandate a vaccine so he is part of the set up (like good cop / bad cop). I will prolly be downvoted but this last 6 months has been INSANE and there is nobody with the balls to stand up and tell the truth.

For whatever reason the President either doesn't see it or doesn't feel he can tell the truth. The truth being this a common cold, a bad common cold but for most of us it is a nothing burger. All of this lockdowns and fear mongering is for their vaccine. They will torture and abuse us for a year or so and then people will be begging for the vaccine by then.

I have had this very same thought. Often. I get that he is limited with what he can say at the moment but if his words and actions don’t change immediately after his renomination then it will without a doubt translate to Americans no longer having individual freedoms. Our rights will instantly change from being God given rights to man given rights and we know where that leads.

I don't know about him being in cahoots but I agree this virus is a scam. I said many months ago the virus is real but the hysteria about it is manufactured. Too many people believe the hysteria so walking it back now is, perhaps not impossible, but extremely difficult. So in that sense he has to play along. Our civilization is held hostage by a manufactured crisis, those who believe it is a bubonic plague 2.0 (it isn't) and those who know it isn't but benefit from said crisis. The Branch Covidians will keep doubling down as facts dismantle their worldview. The media yelled fire in a crowded theater and panicked a nation.

Sorry for the rambling.

It isn't far fetched. The left has been pushing scare tactics and "the sky is falling" bullshit for decades, to seize more power. Acid rain, the ozone hole, global cooling, global warming, eggs are gonna kill us, dietary fat is gonna kill us, meat is gonna kill us, too many people was gonna kill us, peak oil was gonna kill us, etc.

It's been a never ending litany from these chicken littles for decades. Every year, there has been at least one 'crisis" that was gonna kill us all - with legislation attached that would give permanent power to Democrats and globalists.

thank you for your response. Not rambling.

I'm not doing well psychologically and really appreciate writing and reading the responses. If I didn't have small children I could deal with it better. Its probably temporary but I feel like I don't trust anybody at the moment who is in the public sphere.

I've had enough.

Trust your instincts. You've been trained for your whole life to not trust your instincts, but instead trusting politicians and journalists who don't have your well being or benefit in mind.

I went politically agnostic a long time ago. I support President Trump, because he's not been one of those people his whole life. I don't believe in Democrats, or Republicans. I distrust politicians as a breed. My instincts say they're all corrupt sleazebags who would sell any of us out, on any topic, for money and power.

I've yet to find my instincts are wrong. Learn to trust yours again. Learn to read behind the lines, look at what they don't want you to look at, and don't believe any of them at face value. Your beliefs, your instincts, your core are yours, and they can't take that away from you, they can only bamboozle you to give them away. There is nothing wrong with fighting city hall - or the Congress. There is nothing wrong with never trusting anything they say. That's far more healthy than just shouting bumper sticker slogans at people on media.

And most of all, limit access to them, and spend your time on healthy, productive things, like your children. You're gonna be fine. These are tough times, but we WILL survive them.

Same with a few young kids. I'm livid that months of their young lives were robbed from them. For a "pandemic" that's killed what 15 kids age 5 to 17? I stopped giving a damn what people think or say when discussing this virus.

I don't trust public officials but as a lifelong cynic I never did. To see supposedly normal people so eagerly embrace and believe this hysteria has been alarming. However there is mounting pushback here and less adherence to our idiotic mask mandate. Folks are tiring of it. There is light at the end of this long dark tunnel. Stay strong for your family!

He is not going to mandate a vaccine.

But all the states will.

I want to see in each state's Constitution where they can do that.

And, i want to see a healthy, vigorous challenge to them in state Supreme Courts, and the US Supreme Court.

Right. States are unable to stop small groups from burning, looting, and murdering, but suddenly they're going to vaccinate the entire population.
