Boogie lost a lot of weight since this tweet. That said, when(if) he made this tweet he was earning about $8-10K a month on YT ad revenue through adsense. He was also doing a lot of direct product placement ads in his videos that are separate from the YT ad revenue. So if in fact this tweet was actually made by him, he's lying because he would have been earning enough to not be eligible to benefit from the ACA.
That probably helps to explain why his views and income from YT has dropped by like 80% in the last 3 years. He probably got caught lying too many times. In fact he has been losing 1000s of subscribers each month.

I think he's just misguided and I think he has surrounded himself with people who are trying to convince him that he's a victim.
