I was blessed to have a fantastic bankruptcy attorney, so I only lost 2 out of 3 stores, but the chapter 7 we had to file means I lost the chance to buy the house I’m in that I’ve been renting for five years. With the chapter 11, I still have to pay back landlords for breaking leases. Any profit I make for the next three years goes to them. Goodbye savings, sorry employees I had to let go, sorry kids, had to use your college savings to pay for attorney.
