And it's dead quiet, except that cnn is on every damn screen in the airport, brainwashing everyone waiting to board.
Who the hell decided CNN gets the monopoly on airport TV?

Just an FYI you can download apps for universal remotes to definitely not change the TVs to better networks *i am not legally responsible for anything you may or not do lol
Your phone needs an IR blaster to do that.
Damn you’re right, I thought you only had to be connected to the same network as a smart tv but I was mistaken.
Tv b gone

Haha that’s brilliant, now I know what to buy to mess with my in-laws during thanksgiving lol
$25? Sold.
Haha was just gonna post that about https://www.tvbgone.com/
Hey are brilliant, I have a couple and they really work. Most TVs turn off within the first 10 seconds. They are a bit cheaply made though and the plastic is a bit delicate but ehhhh still works.
I miss my galaxy s4. :(
What can a s4 do? Asking for my fren who has two..
I think this is why they stopped putting IR blasters on phones. I think my last phone to have it was a galaxy s5, I used to turn off CNN everywhere. People that worked in places could never figure out why the TV kept just turning off. I would try to change channels but could only get the TV to work, I couldn't get the cable/satellite receiver, probably because it's in the back room.
Nah, we lost those as well as a bunch of other useful features (FM radio, headphone jack, physical keyboards, replaceable batteries, etc.) to the endless quest for thinner phones.
The conspiracy theorist in me says FM chips were either disabled or removed because Apple Music or google music/Spotify etc wanted you to pay for their stupid steaming bullschiff and of course FM won’t use all that expensive data from your monopoly cell carrier Robellus. (Cough canada cough)
Take that a step further; the headphone jack was removed because it was the last signal input source that wasn't regulated by the OS. By removing that, they are basically in a position to put companies like Square out of business any time they want, or at least cripple them.
Several reasons The phone companies wanted to charge extra for it. Yep you bought a phone well they wanted a cut of FM.
The radio companies (yep) they wanted you to use their apps. Location and advert data. The companies that made the phones wanted to have 2 models. Feature rich and feature poor. The streaming companies funny enough filled in the gap. But now you pay 10 bucks a month instead of 'free'.
s/thinner/cheaper/ - they're kind of niche feature and manufacturers want to sell you as little product as possible for the same price. Motorola even removed NFC chips from some of their phones, to the confusion of many who didn't realize until they tried to set up Pay.
Still rocking my LG V20 with latest Android thanks to lineage os and a removable battery.. Has IR blaster and FM radio
