This story needs to go viral. I'm sure there are many more stories like this... CNN and all of the MSM is going to cover this up, but we can't let them get away with it. Perhaps we should assign meme makers to create a new meme every day with a new story - for example, a single mom finally being able to go on vacation because of the lowered cost of prescriptions, etc..
We need to get the word out. This is a HUGE red pill.
Democrats are very experienced in human control. They controlled black slaves before the civil war, they rounded up Japanese into internment camps, now they support human trafficking into massage parlor prostitution.
Oh, there are, believe me. I have to take a bushel basket of pills, morning and evening, and that means I'm at the drug store pharmacy pretty frequently. I've definiutely noticed a drop in prices lately.
Mind you, it was no "red pill" for me, since I've been a Trump supporter from the very beginning. But it sure does make me appreciate what DJT is doing for the people.
Facebook Friend of mine was big time lefty, when trump got elected and did corporate tax cut her job gave her free full family insurance. I haven’t seen her post any lefty shit since then.
Had similar experience. An Epi-Pen prescription for my son has cost me as much as $400 in recent years. Used to have to scour the web for coupon to knock price down to $100 (Thanks CVS!).
Needed a refill last week, and was preparing for the usual screw job. Couldn't believe it when they rang up for $15!
They didn't let them get away with murder, the Dems were PAID (campaign contributions) to let them get away with murder. Probably includes some RINOs, too.
It pleases me to think about how nice things would be with 4 more years. Then an amendment to remove term limits for the President if youre Donald Trump, and then find a way to truly turn him into the immortal god emperor and 10,000 more years of wondrous advancement
no but seriously returning to a time before obamacare for medical costs will help encourage a great deal of advancement in the quality of american healthcare, making it also more affordable for people in the middle class who actually work for a living. as someone that is hoping to start a family soon it's music to my ears that I'm not committing financial suicide and that there's at least 1 person in Washington who is trying to help me rather than just suck me dry.
The reason Epi-Pen's skyrocketed in price was because there was a patent on the delivery system (not the actual drug), and the owner decided to jack up the price. They knew the insurance companies were paying for it.
My wife had the same problem, but found there was a substitute that didn't infringe on the patent, but worked just as well. It was a LOT cheaper.
Was for a generic brand. Even so, I've paid $100 or more for generics at CVS (with their super coupon). This time it was $15 at CVS; no coupon required.
Box says:
Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. North Wales, PA 19454
2 injectors and a trainer. Looks as well made as EpiPen, if not better.
I travel through the Southwest quite regularly for business, heard an ad on the radio in Arizona about how "Donald Trump is trying to take away the insurance coverage for pre-exisiting medical conditions!!" It's the same BS they have been pushing against Martha McSally out there, too. SO, I assume this is because President Trump is actually WINNING at getting some things in the medical realm actually working for Americans at large?
That was based on some non-effective vote in years past. Another Kelly ad is about how he will rescue the economy, no specifics given, and one showing him as an heroic astronaut. He's got nothing.
"since you can't afford the $2000 deductible plan because it would bankrupt you, instead here, here's a plan you're forced to buy with a $10000 deductible. There, I fixed it". - Obama.
What absolutely kills me is I had a broke ass college roommate. He wasn’t broke ass enough that he didn’t have to pay the fine. Right on the bubble. Asked him how he felt about Obamacare after seeing it in action. Fucker still shilled for the shitty healthcare.
Edit: should say he couldn’t afford healthcare and had to pay the fine and thought it was a great idea.
Trump removed the penalty, it was one of the first things he did. You can not have health insurance, and no penalty.
And, of course, CA is doing it at a state level now, along with several other states. $700 a year. But the cheapest CoveredCalifornia plans are several hundred a month, with extremely high deductibles, so it's still cheaper.
BTW - Obamacare wasn't about "fixing" healthcare. It was just a payoff to the health insurance industry for their campaign donations. It was a massive redistribution of wealth from the public to a specific industry, and made healthcare worse, overall, and vastly too expensive for most people. It's still insanely expensive. And, because they had so many years forcing the system into it, changing it back would be so much upheaval and stress and cost, most are reluctant to even talk about tackling it.
lol reminds me of a "friend" of mine during COVID calling everyone selfish because his 95 year old grandpa (great man btw) could die from COVID in his nursing home. That his grandpas life is more important than people being able to provide to their family.
So I asked him why doesn't he just bring his grandpa to his house and he can take care of him since he can obviously work from home. Silence. Utter silence
Lol they're going to have to raise their prices in those countries with price fixes set by the government. Either that or those socialist healthcare countries will have to go without
I went to get my prescription filled. Just a normal water pill. Normally it is more than $20, even with insurance (it's the 12.5mg pill... I like it better than the 25mg which is very common and very cheap).
My first refill after Trump Rx changes, and I dont' remember the price, but I told the pharmacist it is normally over $20 and if she got me the right pills and right count. She seemed agitated... either because she's sick of hearing about it, or she hates Trump so much, she hates seeing Rx prices going down. Hopefully, it was the former.
This was a huge victory for Americans! Think about how anti-American it was, company sends meds to 3rd world shitholes for pennies, charges us here 50 times the price. We have been subsidizing the world for the medicines developed and manufactured in America.
The drug companies attitudes were basically " overcharge the country, they can afford it"
Have to buy a 160 dollar bottle of meds every month. We do not have top tier insurance anymore ( thanks obama, and all shithead democrats, really).
I hope it has gone down in price!
We need pictures of your bills from before and after. You can black out most of the name of your medicines if you want to, but we need to show people that the same meds are actually lower now. Because otherwise they'll just come back and say it's not the same prescription, or you're buying generic now which is cheaper, etc. There are enough people that will believe if they see proof
Jesus at that point would it be worth it to just save that money every year for medical emergencies instead of throwing it at insurance? I know there's a peace of mind that comes with it but I couldn't even imagine spending that much yearly, we definitely need to fix the policies that unfairly punish self employed/small business owners who choose to work for themselves.
You don’t understand, insurance always talks down prices for things it covers from providers. That means providers have to charge crap tons to people without insurance, this includes medicines mind you. And for some things, the provider can’t provide a product or service without you having insurance because of liability issues or some other reason.
Charging more to people without insurance is actually not always true. Sometimes, if you state you are "paying cash" (paying on site via any instant method) you can get a large discount, occasionally even paying less than the co-pay charged to someone with insurance.
That might not seem to make sense, but there are a few reasons for it. Doctors don't have to pay someone to fill out insurance forms. They don't have to fight with an insurance company to get their money. And they have their money NOW, not months from now once the forms are processed. This means they can use it now, the importance of which anyone with financial knowledge knows well.
You are 100% correct that current medical insurance is a racket.
Democrats desperately want our healthcare system to fail. Companies like United Healthcare / Optum (same org) are making RECORD profits from their blood money. These organizations collude with politicians in making the red tape that secures their monopolistic market positions. Then they act like they are innovating and making ppls lives better —- all a scheme to secure their market position, NOT help people.
We were all fed lies that they needed to increase premiums drastically or become unprofitable. Complete BS UHG needs to be taken apart and real competition and innovation should take its place.
That is what gives me the chills, this is not free market system, it is price controls on top of decades of bureaucracy. I hope Trump tears it all down before the bad effects rear its ugly head.
Yep. Socialized medicine is the Democrat plan to cut the recipients out of the equation. Once the taxpayer -> pharma pipeline is set up directly and the people aren't shown the costs, pharma companies get to just roll in profits through government shoveling billions to them for "socialized" medicine. They turn around and lobby with that money to get more money.
Oh yeah, a lot of Americans are going to get red pilled:
The number of prescriptions filled for American adults and children rose 85 percent between 1997 and 2016, from 2.4 billion to 4.5 billion a year, according to the health research firm Quintile IMS. During that time, the U.S. population rose 21 percent.
Pill culture is real. Doctors throw scripts at people, because patients don't want to change their lifestyle, and doctors are just trying to churn as many patients through their office as fast as possible.
I'm on no prescriptions, because I take care of myself and live cleanly. Most don't. "Oh, I ate my way to pre-diabetes, but I'll just take Metaformin instead of cutting out the cookies and ice cream." or "I have high blood pressure because I sit on my ass all day and eat a fuck ton of salt - but instead of changing that, I'll just take a pill."
I watched my parents go through that dance - take a pill for one thing, need two more for the side effects of the first pill. They each had around 10 prescriptions. They spent most of their time in retirement going to CVS and the doctors. We tried to get them off a lot of it, but they were a generation of 'do what the doctor tells you." Their base condition wasn't that bad, but at least half of their bottles were for side-effects of the other pills.
This will not be popular but fuck people who get “red-pilled” but somehow are not “red-pilled” enough to fucking be honest and say “yeah I did hate him, not sure why now” but instead go all lying-whore and say “”I never said that!”
I do not like people like that and do not rejoice in such slithery people’s “conversions”.
Lying whores.
Red pilled with an actual pill!
I dont want a stimulus check. I want the economy to open. 99% survival rate
The survival rate isn't that low.
You are correct.
You may not have won the whole internet, but with this comment you win a small place in my heart.
If we stipulate it with “over the age of 75” it might be that low.
Fucking A.
Democrats are very experienced in human control. They controlled black slaves before the civil war, they rounded up Japanese into internment camps, now they support human trafficking into massage parlor prostitution.

Trump actually cares about the people.
So true this a great example of the work of a great President like Trump we need to spread this.
Hope the pills for the meds are red, would be a jackpot
Facebook Friend of mine was big time lefty, when trump got elected and did corporate tax cut her job gave her free full family insurance. I haven’t seen her post any lefty shit since then.
report back with results!
omg!!!!
Dammit, you beat me to it!

Thank you President Trump!
Holy crap that's outstanding
Holy crap, Batman!

They didn't let them get away with murder, the Dems were PAID (campaign contributions) to let them get away with murder. Probably includes some RINOs, too.
So did the RINO's my friend. That's why GEOTUS is so damn special. He is America First. Fuck the parties.
Someday I hope people realize we have been getting fucked by R's as well. At least 70% of those fucks are owned. So stop wearing blinders.
I’m very surprised that the price has really fallen by that much. That fast.
It went up that fast because of Obamacare, so it can go down that fast with a light touch from Trump.
I wouldn't call that EO a light touch. He bitch slapped them with a heavy gauntlet.
It pleases me to think about how nice things would be with 4 more years. Then an amendment to remove term limits for the President if youre Donald Trump, and then find a way to truly turn him into the immortal god emperor and 10,000 more years of wondrous advancement

And alot of that money saved on drugs can actually go back in the bank.
*Magic wand
Trump used a magic wand
That's probably what the rest of the world had been paying all this time.
It means the prices were super-duper artificial.
Was it the same brand?
The reason Epi-Pen's skyrocketed in price was because there was a patent on the delivery system (not the actual drug), and the owner decided to jack up the price. They knew the insurance companies were paying for it.

I think that's the one my wife got, as well.
I hear you; it does seem like a waste.
However, I hope they sit around and expire - it sure beats having to use them.
gonna go eat some shellfish and play with bees... live on the wild side.
How long before Biden claims that these reduced prescription prices are a result of the Obama administration policies?
3 seconds
Are you talking about his memory or the prices?
Yes
Or not really that low.
Or both.
"These prescription drug prices are a trick. They're not really as low as he says. And anyway, that was Obamas donig that lowered drug prices."
Trump must have done something to interrupt the "journo list". They can't get their stories straight.
Lefties: These pills owned slaves!
So now they're being sold as revenge. Fair's fair, right?
I travel through the Southwest quite regularly for business, heard an ad on the radio in Arizona about how "Donald Trump is trying to take away the insurance coverage for pre-exisiting medical conditions!!" Mark Kelly is interested in one thing: MARK KELLY. Plus, he's a gun grabber extraordinaire. I hope the people of AZ see though his façade.
Chinas hand is so far up Kelly's asshole we can see Xis fingers when mark speaks
The best thing he ever did was INFORM the masses about fake "NEWS."
There's a new sucker born every minute, so they can just keep repeating the same bullshit.
Joepedo can't even remember Zero's name.
"That uh.. erm... articulate black guy, it's like a storybook fantasy, man! C'mon!"
You mean Obiden Bama?
Obiden Jobama
I love these prescription drug changes. Now we need to make it so that all of the prescription drugs in this country are colored red.
Obama looked at fixing health care and determined that everyone needed expensive healthcare under threat of fines
Trump just lowers costs.
"since you can't afford the $2000 deductible plan because it would bankrupt you, instead here, here's a plan you're forced to buy with a $10000 deductible. There, I fixed it". - Obama.
it really do be like that 😆
What absolutely kills me is I had a broke ass college roommate.
Let me put a tax in place so we control healthcare inequality by taxing Cadillac plans. Bucket of crabs mentality for benefits...
Trump removed the penalty, it was one of the first things he did. You can not have health insurance, and no penalty.

"Let's throw more money at it, to get rid of the greedy people."
That’s bad for people like me who take a lot of different medicines.
Obviously dick pills will still be blue.
No fucking way.
The only people who hate lower drug prices and Trump are those working for the pharma industry. I know one such person.
lol reminds me of a "friend" of mine during COVID calling everyone selfish because his 95 year old grandpa (great man btw) could die from COVID in his nursing home. That his grandpas life is more important than people being able to provide to their family.
So I asked him why doesn't he just bring his grandpa to his house and he can take care of him since he can obviously work from home. Silence. Utter silence
many grifters could be laid off, and nothing of value would be lost
Lol they're going to have to raise their prices in those countries with price fixes set by the government. Either that or those socialist healthcare countries will have to go without
I feel bad for individual people but GOOD! I should not be subsidizing socialist healthcare in other countries by paying more for my meds.
next up, HCQ
That’s already cheaper than dirt.
Yea but should be over the counter
Cheaper Than Dirt is selling HCQ, NO WAY.
As a man who hunts for property regularly....oooh boy is dirt expensive!
I wonder how many people know it's even because of GEOTUS that their meds are cheaper though.
None, this would be headline news for a week had it been anyone else or literally any other country in the world
Frankly I'm shocked some pharmacists are even telling people the truth.
I went to get my prescription filled. Just a normal water pill. Normally it is more than $20, even with insurance (it's the 12.5mg pill... I like it better than the 25mg which is very common and very cheap).

I hope this happens to my TDS ridden family. Unlike me, they're all on plenty of pills so there's potential.
Sounds like some red ones are in order
Once again proving the maxim that “All Politics is Local.”
The biggest crime here is the media ignoring this, people are quite literally not even aware of how big of a move this is by POTUS
Fuck the DNC and fuck their MSM lackeys and everything they stand for
They’re waiting to give Biden credit for it if he wins. (He won’t.)

That is a huge price difference. Will result in amazing savings country wide.
What she said was “Trump is a lying masogonistic racist bigot, never said I didn’t like him”.
No mAgIc wAnD
Excellent, now do health insurance Mr. President. It's a nightmare for self employed and small businesses. I pay $20,000 a year for my family.

Who do you think wrote Obamacare? It sure as shit was not Nancy. She did not even know what was in it and had to sign it to find out.
One EO. Remember that's ALL it took. One EO and NONE of the spineless figgots in office managed to do it.
Literally
Very good.
Hell yeah!

When do we get to see published numbers. This needs to come out before the election.
Yup! My Rx was $80, every month, with insurance, under Obama. Trump comes in and it went down to $65, then, $40, then $28.
It is currently at $7.
Liberals: sounds like socialized medicine to me, stfu liberals trump is best pres who gets shit done like no other pres. Yeah trump 2020
Have the changes taken affect? I thought it was still several months away...
In his morning address, Trump said more prescription price reductions would begin in 30 to 40 days.
It makes me so happy that Trump gave the middle finger to big pharma
Corrupt fucks: “REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”
Amazing how affordable medicine is when we're not subsidizing commie countries.
Yep, last week my 3 month supply of insulin was only $15.
This could be huge for those many Americans getting fleeced by big pharma for drugs they can’t easily get off of.
You need to make a side by side meme, op. Tile out your name, of course. This needs to be spammed on social media.
This will not be popular but fuck people who get “red-pilled” but somehow are not “red-pilled” enough to fucking be honest and say “yeah I did hate him, not sure why now” but instead go all lying-whore and say “”I never said that!” I do not like people like that and do not rejoice in such slithery people’s “conversions”. The red pills are free, but some folks have to part with an astonishing amount of their tangible and intangible assets before they will take one.
They insist!
Think about the lives saved, from people getting medications they might have otherwise forgone due to cost...
She got CHEAP pilled
Fact check : False It was actually $2.00
Wow
Hah, with a literal pill
