I would much rather have a nice boat and spend my life enjoying and exploring the world, then locked in a 3 bedroom city apartment with 4 kids and someone who cheats on me while im at a work conference only 3 hours from home for 2 nights..
Yes sir, preaching to the choir. I like the idea of having a family soon-ish but the thought of losing half of what I own due to some nut job is pretty scary.
I used to travel around and enjoy life. Found someone who seemed to like the same things, but time happened... They'll always find ways to root you to one spot, and slowly hate your life more and more...
After this years pandemic I put my foot down. I bought a HD 4x4 rust bucket i am currently restoring. Its getting a camper in the bed of the truck. I am going to start taking entire quarters to travel or even longer if I can get an effective plan in place. I told her I had stayed put for 8 years, she could go with me or without me but either way I was going! I have hit a rut I need to see some views and rejuvenate the soul!
