And to add another twist to this. The City of San Francisco had a ballot initiative, submitted by city voters, to rename their sewage plant to the George W. Bush sewage plant many years ago. The measure failed, but the thought was the same: name the poop plant after someone you don't like.

His show was okay, but he spawned an entire "lineage" of bad comedians (Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White even though some of his shit on drinking isn't bad). You could argue that because he was responsible for them, he's also by proxy responsible for their jokes too.
