He could sometimes be funny, but in the end a pos.

Jon Stewart rode in on his horse to help the 9/11 first responders....16, 17 years after the event happened and the damage was done? Most of the first responders were dead by then.

Alex Jones was the only doing fundraisers and giving media to dying first responders in 2004 and 2005. But of course Stewart comes in 17 years later and soaks up all the glory

Must be nice to be Jon Stewart, not lift a finger for 9/11 first responders for 17 years then walk around smirking for cameras acting like he's their savior

I like that he did that, but it was an obvious virtue signal. He championed plenty of other shitty things like Barack Obama.

Ok, he's a halfway pos -- and that funding has not been without problems (and there was a fund prior to Stewart's crusade, which admittedly at first I thought was a good and noble thing to do...but with time I'm not so sure): https://www.courthousenews.com/compensation-fund-for-9-11-victims-to-slash-benefit-awards/

I now tend to think this was just a trap for Republicans and a potential slush fund for Democrats...in which case, not so good.
