Actually this has more to do with the reporting of data than anything else. Data is not reported on the weekends the way it is during the week.

Fair enough. I would imagine reporting should be more accurately attributed to deaths on weekends instead of just bulk reported come Monday.

exactly, pretty much just comes down to less people pulling work over the weekends. pretty much every country's covid data graphing looks the same (with the bumps)
