Aren't most of those laws about the kind of traps designed to thwart people from entering property like an emergency responder. Not where you place rat traps in your yard where someone could possibly stick their hand while specifically trespassing. No first responder would have a reason to remove the sign!
Print and put next to the traps the famous phrase:
A mouse trap works because the mice don't understand why the cheese is free. The same happens with communism.

Bonus: this gets around the state booby trap laws. (I am not a lawyer, and it probably doesn't.)
