I take it you're not familiar with burglars who have sued homeowner's over injuries sustained while breaking in?

Silly, if injuries lead to lawsuits, then that just means they need bigger traps!

Hippity Hoppity........

In Iceland if your committing a crime you can't sue.

It does occur rarely but the anecdotes are twisted over the years like urban legends.

The skylight story is a kid was supposedly trying to redirect a flood light at a school to play basketball and he fell through a skylight that was painted over black

A secret between two people is best kept when one of them is dead.

Heard this from a cop after my cousin's house got broken into.

Also said "if someone is breaking into your home keep in mind that a dead man is less likely to sue you than a live one."

Love rural NC cops.

Breaking into someone's home without just cause is already heinous in most societies.

I'm not even talking about defense related injuries (though those get sued for as well, and also families sue if their criminal family member dies).

But I'm talking about, like, suing if he cuts himself on the window he broke through or ridiculous crap like that.
