They had to play their hand early. Trump was a wild card and they needed 4-8 more years to organize largely enough. Trump took away that buffer so they played their hand now. The generation rioting are the spawn of the hippy generation to now surprise, told they were special, never told no and unfortunately with social media were given a platform to speak to large groups of people so their BS can't be contained.
