I have been seeing on here that if the election is declared invalid that the House chooses the election. At first this sounds terrible for us, but I have also seen on here that it isn’t a vote of the entire House but rather a delegate from each state. Assuming people vote party lines, then the Republicans would win 26-24. Is this actually how it works?
I believe each State gets two votes. And I heard in this regard Republicans hold a decent majority. (Which makes sense as the overwhelming majority of democrats live in just a handful of States.)
That, coupled with the losses Democrats are going to take in the House in the coming election pretty much clenches it.
12th Amendment snippet:
So all 55 delegates of California will get to vote on the top three candidates that received the most votes. In this case it'll go blue, and Biden will get exactly 1 vote from California.
Trump won 30 States in 2016. Which means he'll kick ass, if it comes down to this procedure.
One vote per state in the House
2 votes per state in the senate
Edit: if it’s in December (I think it is) then we win anyway
