On a personal note, my wife went to get a prescription filled last week and normally she pays $80 with a coupon. This time it was $14.

I didn't even think about the EO but I guess it makes sense.

Which medication? He would get a lot more people to believe him if he would name it so people can verify it independently. Medication prices have come down quite a bit already. But $4800 to $100 for a cancer drug? I find that hard to believe.

Taking the financial incentive out of these previously high cost treatments might just promote the study of actual cures. It will have a huge effect on the long goals of these industries.

I’m all for lowering prices but drug development will essentially stop. The financial burden that drugs cost to bring from an idea to on the shelves is huge. Companies won’t create new drugs if they can’t profit.

That’s why USA is the number one drug innovator in the world. If we want to keep it that way, we need to Lower the financial constraints that it takes to bring a drug to the market
