100%. All someone has to do is test the waters. Once they do that and see that they don’t do shit about it like the Cops in Portland then the Guard will pull out and Trump will send in the federal troops. It’s just a complete waste of fucking time. And those people in the Guard aren’t even properly trained at all whatsoever on riot control. A 2 or 3 day class on it is probably all they’ve had on it. Recipe for disaster in my opinion.
Too bad the National Guard won’t be given their weapons to use. Which makes them utterly useless in this scenario.
The DNC also wants the NG to be armed, but for perversely different reasons.
I am of the opinion that ANYONE being deployed in a violent area should be armed. National Guards and Military.
