Would be nice if we did normalization of prices on everything. Americans get ripped off on pretty much every product because some CEO says "the USA can afford it" while they give vastly reduced prices to foreign countries. As far as I'm concerned X is X and if an American company charges $1.00 for a hamburger in a poor country the same hamburger should cost $1.00 in America. To do anything else is a punitive redistribution of wealth. People should not be punished with higher prices simply for living in the greatest country on Earth.
Many scams in America because politicians are bought and paid for and almost everyone else, including the regulators, falls in line or else you will be replaced with compliant personnel. Generally, I believe academics call this regulatory capture. In another thread, they were talking about the college book scam. Regulatory capture at its finest and nobody get punished. Trump should shut down the college book scam too, after all, those guys launder money for Barry, HRC, and every Dem with a book deal.
