We killed Baghdadi, negotiated peace terms between Turks and Kurds that has held up still, and none of it required leaving our military in Syria for the end of time. Terrorism like that will always exist in some form and never be completely eradicted as it comes in waves, but the message was sent. That shit will not fly, no more enabling terrorism, and the Trump admin set the tone. Obama's foreign policy strategy was a wreck. It's one of the main reasons I voted for him and boy did he deliver. It should be talked about way more.

Obama micromanaged the military. I believe he even had a hand in the incident with the ship captain on the life raft with 3 terrorists and they were all shot dead from SEAL snipers from the bow of the ship! I don't remember the exact orders from Obama, but it was basically, don't do anything to put the American's life in danger. In order words, don't kill the terrorists.
Well, the Navy Captain of the ship that was towing the life raft decided against those orders, or interpreted them in a different way, which they are allowed to do.
Trump on the other hand, just says, "I want ISIS destroyed."
And his generals say, "Aye, sir."
