I’m sure he is an amazing hero and served this country with honor. Cherish every second and know his spirit will live on with you and through you. God bless you and your family in this time ❤️🇺🇸
🙏🏻 Sorry to hear this. Be assured, your concern and love for him shows how much you mean to him as well. I pray for his comfort and resilience and for you and your family at this time.
This is one of the hardest times in your life. Call on your Diety in your own fashion and they will comfort you, hold you up, and when all seems to be lost, your faith in a higher power than yourself will support you. We are all here with you. We love you and all of us feel your loss.
86/87 seems to be that age where a lot of folks start to really decline :-( . I had a grandmother go at 86, a great aunt go at 87, and a family friend who was a neighbor go at 86 a few years ago. All were perfectly coherent and in decent health six months prior to passing. Came on suddenly.
Hey Pede, it's your duty to keep it together. He will rest easy, and will earn his reward in heaven. Mourn, in your own way, but also honor him with your strength. God bless.
My mother died in my arms, and it hurts brother. It hurts. Accept the loss but don't dwell in the pain. Seek comfort in your maker, surround yourself with friends and family and let time heal your wounds.
You can keep it together, and we know how hard that is and will be for you. I'm sure that he taught you strong values and ethics that you will pass on to future generations and the world around you! That is major honor to him. You've got a lot of friends here, even if we've not met face to face. Turn to your loved ones and take care of them as much as they will take care of you - and take whatever time you need to get your mind in the right place. We'll be here when you're ready, we'll make the country great together with the strength and determination that your dad knows we have. Take care, fren.
Your father did his job, and he seems to have done it well. Thank him. Tell him that you heard him, and you will continue on with him ever in your heart and mind. Let him know that you will do your best to pass his knowledge to his grandchildren. Without him, even with with all his flaws, you wouldn't exist. And because of you, he will live forever. "Thanks Dad for being the man I strive to be, and for being the man I needed then." Honestly, I don't know. I never knew my dad, but this is how I think I'd like it to go. Huge love to you fren. He will surely soar with the angels.
I lost my father a month ago, he was a Vietnam vet. It’s hard losing a parent, Pede. Take comfort knowing he is proud of you for continuing the fight to defend and protect our country. You and your family will be in my prayers.
May God bless you and your dad. Spend as much time as you can bringing up happy memories. Tell him everything that is in your heart--don't hold back.
The last days with my dad were some of the most special for me. The private conversations of what I have always felt. We prayed the rosary. We talked about the legacy that his life has left on so many people. Let him know what he has meant to you. Talk about what he has taught you. Let him know how much his life matters to so many people. Give him closure. Forget anything that has ever become between you and let him know he is your hero.
I wish both of you peace and only beautiful memories.
The worst struggle is seeing those who made so much of our life start to fade and succumb to the end. Life isn't ever the same after you lose loved ones but, you'll grow from the experience and you'll be better able to better help others when the time comes. Good luck and God's speed buddy, you are both loved!
Both of my parents have died and I was with each of them. It was very peaceful, get into hospice as soon as possible even if you get kicked off for living too long. People live longer on hospice because they often feel better away from doctors and hospitals. I miss them both terribly, my mom was the one who got me into Trump, but at least she lived to see him elected. Will be thinking of you, tough times
That’s the beauty of patriots my dear friend. We are family. Here for each other. Here for you. We love you and we love your POP. It’s our job to be strong when others can’t. ❤️
You and Hunter have something in common! Sorry buddy, just trying to add a little levity. It's one of the toughest times in our lives to watch our Fathers go. Mine went at 65 years old. It was not easy. God's speed with your father fellow Pede.
