Last time I voted I had to go to the "republican" table and I felt so awkward that everyone knew my party. Is that normal?? I'm thinking of just switching to no preference so they can't play games with my vote?

Was it a primary election? There is no Republican table for a general election.
No Republican table for a primary either.
