Bruh do you even live in Texas, Abbott has a mask mandate and he's keeping us at 50% capacity, bars shut down. He's aiming to please Dems and forgetting us who voted for him. He's lost my vote for sure. He literally cat stand up for us.
I grew up in Texas under Ann Richards, GWB, and Rick Perry. I currently live in WA state and am in the process of voting with my feet. Conservatives in probably 47 or so other states would kill to have Abbott. This kind of binary 100% or 0% horse shit is part why we had all 3 branches a few years ago and didn't do shit with it. I feel your pain; I hate the mask stuff too. I don't think it works but it's what we've got.
I can see your perspective, esp living in WA I can see how you think Abbott is good by comparison. But I have to hold him accountable, can't just let him be less shitty than Dems & RINOs. His LT Gov & AG , Ken Paxton & Dan Patrick are infinitely more based and actually fight for us. Abbott is quickly slipping into RINO territory and I won't stand for it
