They have just given up. Its like they don't even care anymore. Its completely insane. They let kids out of class to protest... the dropout rate is around 20%... they have days with reduced hours, so theyre not even going 5 days a week... they NEVER bring home homework, none of them has ever even been asked to "write a report". They are not taught cursive. They would not even know how to read cursive if it wasnt for me teaching them at home. The school is open for all of 45 min after school lets out for extra instruction. Is not open before school for half the year. IT. IS. FALLING. COMPLETELY. APART.
I know all those teachers are out rioting right now instead of doing any kind of class development for september. I know it.
Our elementary school doesn't even teach kids to read. They do even worse at math. I live in a poor border burb. The school here is just a social welfare program for mexican citizens bussed across the border every day.

Dude I've never heard of a school that bad. You should get an investigative team on it. See if any local news teams have one that can take this on.

I don't know of any high school that teaches cursive. I went to high school in the 80's and cursive wasn't taught then.
