To be fair we tried that before Lincoln, too. Abolitionist activists preferred to keep slaves in the US.
We did manage to buy some land and send some back. They effectively had their own fresh start on their own colony in Africa. The freed slaves we sent proceeded to enslave the native population and turn the land into what's now known as the shithole of Liberia.
The alternative would be that we just left them to continue raping, killing, and eating each other even well into the 2000s. Build some more fucking walls and mind our own business.
No slaves in 1619; only indentured servants. First slave legally owned in 1655 when a black farmer, Anthony Johnson, sued to own John Casor, an indentured servant that had served his term.
You guys are starting to sound like racist, not helping to re-elect trump. No matter what you think, it would’ve happened eventually. Not bringing them here would’ve just delayed the inevitable. And it also seems like some of the people on here are fucking KKK members in disguise. We don’t need shit like this on here, and if you support this shit, get the fuck out. I hate the protests and the riots, but I’m not a fucking racist piece of shit like the person who posted this.

Most people would call this racist, which I can see why. It would of been better for both ends if slavery never happened. Would never really have to deal with racial politics at all.
Even excluding all the bullshit going on today, we would have been better off just leaving them alone letting them all kill each other in Africa, letting the new warlord dujour rape all of the children and kill all of the adults. I'd almost argue they may not even exist today if we didn't bring them here.
I'm more concerned about the labor aspect though. I'd argue we would be more technologically advanced now if we didn't use them. Slaves HELD US BACK. There was no reason for technology to advance because we had unlimited cheap labor to throw at the problem. Why spend time, money, and resources figuring out the absolute most efficient way to plant crops when you could just throw more people at the problem? Look at farming today compared to 200 years ago. Farming efficiency moved at a snail's pace until we got rid of slavery, then it followed an exponential curve.
Imagine no joggers and our technology being 200 years ahead. THAT is what the slave traders did to us.
You also have to remember that technology advances exponentially. without slavery, I think things would of developed a little later due to not having as much profit from slavery. but it wouldn't really change anything today.

No one really wants to talk about that first draft of BLM, LOLBeria.
I wonder why 🤔?
What's grabbler?
Loved those movies. Graboids
He means these folks 🇮🇱
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Grabbler A person who grabs the sack of a male and squeezes so hard that all the cum comes squirting through his meatpipe.
But I'm guessing he's saying it as (((grabbler)))
What's next....GEN I CIDEEEEEED
Damn grabblers, grabbling all my money, eating matzo and wearing their tiny hats.
Also, no they weren't the ones financing the slave trade.
Keep /pol in /pol Anon
No, that was the Royal families at the time.
No Israel back then and jewish families didn't have such economic clout. Try again
This is the high quality content I hang around for. Well done.
GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! I literally had this conversation with a friend last week!!!!!
My ancestors didn't own shit when they came here, but I sure know that I'd have picked my own fucking cotton had I known what I know today.
Is it too late to get a refund?
The ironic thing is that the alternative to the slave trade would have been genocide for the would be slaves.

we should have picked our own cotton
good Lord that's a rabbit hole. saving for later.

I thought the Irish were brought here earlier?
They were, but we all seemed to mainstream fairly quickly, in comparison.
This meme format pretty much never dissapoints me
Slave ships were overwhelmingly owned by jews.
Most slave ships/slave trading companies were Jewish owned!
Yep, the biggest mistake done to south and North America
Apparently you have to use period weapons because guns can't go in the time machine.
I'd 100% bring back a pile of matchlock rifles and a blunderbuss
