I shop local now that I can. If it is not available in my town, I will drive past Target and Walmart to another town's local. I consider myself frugal, but the extra expense is worth it to the mom-and-pop stores and to my own state of mind.
Same-same here, fren. Besides, the bigger stores are a far longer drive away, so I save a lot of time in buying local. The extra cost is minuscule compared to the gas, time, and aggravation in driving to the big city.
Watching the owner's face of a small-town furniture shop as I bought $2k worth of decent furniture from him last month? It humbled the crap out of me when he came out to thank me for it personally.
Didn't matter that it would take a couple weeks to order and deliver the matching second recliner to go with the first and the matching sofa (they only had one recliner in the store). Didn't matter that I could have gotten cheap Chinese shit that looked very similar for maybe $1600 at the big-box store (to replace the cheap falling-apart Chinese shit that I have in my living room now). His little store was, like most, hit damned hard by the plandemic, and for all I know that purchase kept the lights on for another week or two (PPP took care of his two non-family employees, if I remember right).
This is what most folks don't think about. Sure, if you're on a tight budget (because layoffs/furloughs/etc), do what you gotta, but if you can spare it, support your local shopkeepers.
Stop shopping there when they started bloviating & supporting the tranny-potty protection BS years ago. Let the commies hold up their profit lines, I won't contribute to my own destruction from these corp marxists.
I haven't been inside a Target at least in the past 7 years or so. I know this because I remember when they had that massive data breach and I laughed, and laughed, and laughed... (because I never shopped there during the period of time outlined in the news about the breach).
These are people who can’t logically reason but want to appear to have the moral high ground. They accept things at face value with absolutely zero critical thinking. They are ruled by emotional knee jerking.
Easy to program. Hard if not impossible to redpoll.
Jesus, after that shit in Minneapolis you'd think they would at the very least put a stop to employees advocating for the rioters that cost them millions of dollars. Fucking galaxy brain shit right here.
FUCK THAT WAS AWESOME!!!

OTOH, I like when idiots publicly identify themselves so I can "socially distance" from them.
Target's headquarters are in Minneapolis. You know, where the burning started.. this time?
Yup. Plenty of stupid people in minneapolis. My sister's one of them.

Hey Target...

Buy your Goya elsewhere!!!!!

Snap, came here to say the exact same thing and was wondering exactly how long it had been. I missed the data breach by 2 weeks.
My God what is wrong with this country? Looks like the only pandemic in America is monumental stupidity.

Target has been commie trash for years now.
Target is proactively endorsing the body’s inability to respirate correctly following a fentanyl / meth overdose.... classy.
If you can talk, you can breathe.

They can stand to lose. You know who can't? All the small competing busineses who won't be able to reopen their doors.
If I hired thugs to burn down my competitions stores I'd go to prison. Target gave BLM millions to do just that and they get a tax write off
Class action law suit for target and any other business that supported the rioting destruction of property ...
I wonder if somebody stole all the swag in the name of BLM if they would stop them?
