Whereas the GOP generally, or at least in theory, supports transcendent ideas and principles, the Democrats' entire modus operandi is pandering to various interest groups and promising them special consideration at everyone else's expense. The obvious problem is that Democrats are then incentivized to NOT solve any given voter blocks' grievances, and yet pic related never seems to happen.
