I want justice as much as you all, but I feel like we need to realize that these are real lives being ended. It is heartbreaking that these people are so brainwashed. It's heartbreaking that people are getting shot, it's heartbreaking that it is all comeling to this.
I dunno... It's just hard to see people cheering people getting shot and killed and maimed. Even the guy who shot the antifas or blms or whatever will never be the same... We are good people on this site. Don't lower ourselves to their level.
Enemies or not, all human life is sacred and you only debase yourself if you celebrate its loss.
Sometimes violence and even killing is necessary but the loss of human life is never to be celebrated.

The death of domestic terrorists is cause for celebration just as much as al-bagdadi or bin-laden.
You shouldn't celebrate anyone's death. They had a life and a soul and a point of view that you can't replace. A piece of creation is gone from the world and no one can put it back.
The core of western civilization is the idea that every individual has a divine element. It's the source of our rights and our dignity. You deny that element and debase yourself when you celebrate a person's death.
Some people deserve to die, yes. Some people (like Bin-Laden) even need to die. But if you take pleasure in their deaths you undermine your own humanity in the process.

It takes courage to acknowledge that everyone has value and that it's our moral duty to respect it. It means that the fight will be harder and that you're taking on the added responsibility willingly.
